A fast-read relay is used for a response time of less than 2 ms. Relay contacts are rated at 500mA. Contacts are made available via connection at the tip and sleeve of a 1/4" mono phone jack. (When switching inductive loads, be aware of precautions that must be taken to avoid back EMF problems)
The R8 is programmed by sending it MIDI System Exclusive messages. This is easily done with the MIDI Solutions Programming Tools software. Once programmed, its settings are retained even after power is removed and it can be reprogrammed with new settings as often as needed.
MIDI-powered, requires no batteries or power supply to operate with most MIDI products. A MIDI indicator LED lights up when the product is powered and flashes when MIDI data passes through it.

A: The Photographers' Formulary Select Contact Print Frame (11 x 14") is for making contact prints in the darkroom. The back presses tight to the glass to hold the negatives flat against the front glass. If the photopolymer plate has more depth than a sheet of darkroom paper, it will not fit.

[Yes] I buy Netgear products because they just work and work. Set it and forget it, as they say. The only reason I replaced the switch with a new one is that the old one didn't support gigabit networking, which should tell you how long it's been in my server rack. 5

[MIDI Utility] This unmanaged switch is easy to mount on a rack or on a wall. Easy to verify speed via lights that glow different color indicating 100 Megs, etc. Compact in size it worked right out of the box as expected. The AC power cord is one that is the standard for PC computers so longer cords are readily available, if you are not close to an AC outlet. 5
