Datavideo 4K CS Mount POV Camera for Professional Videois a compact yet powerful camera platform suitable for applications in live video streaming environments. This pocket-sized camera features an included CS lens mount and a 1/2.3" CMOS image sensor for capturing images at resolutions up to 4K60. A range of adjustable settings and automatic image compensation features ensure the highest quality video is transmitted over its HDMI or RJ45 outputs, all of which may be controlled via manual buttons, Datavideo's useful View Assist app, or an optional RMC controller (available separately). Q: 1. If I pair the DVK-400 with the TPC-700 touch-panel controller, do I still need a host computer for control?

A: Yes, when using the Datavideo 4K Real-Time Chroma Keyer with 10-Bit, 4:4:4 Video Processing with the Datavideo 7" Touch Panel Controller TPC-700 you will need a PC for initial setup. After that the TPC-700 controller would work and you would not need to have a computer connected.

Q: 2. Is this compatible with wirecast ?

A: Yes, this is compatible with Wirecast according to AJA.

Q: 3. Do this UHD6G-200 AIDA camera have built in IR filter or do it need IR corrected lenses to film in daylight?

A: This camera is listed as being ready to use inside/out/day/night without need for additional filtering.

A: No it can not record to SD cards. The SD card is reserved for "future development" (new features they may add in the future) and firmware updates. Yes the SSDs are hot swappable

A: Datavideo says - The theorem path delay of DVK-400's SDI IN to SDI OUT is less than 10 scan lines, but the actual delay can be 10 scan lines ~ 1 frame influenced by frame synchronizer and Genlock feature. This would be the same for INPUT and OUTPUT.

Q: 7. Is there a way that files can be copied from a mac onto this deck, and outputted @4k to a projector?

A: The DataVideo ProRes UHD 4K Video Recorder (Desktop Model) features playback and recording options, both in qualities up to UHD 4K. If loaded with appropriate files types (Apple Prores), it should work fine to output a video for playback to a 4K projector.

Q: 8. Are the line and mic inputs on the side functional? Seems like the spec sheet only lists the I/O cable for audio in.

A: The breakout cable includes a 3.5mm Audio input that can be configured as either a Mic level or Line level input via the camera's menu.

Q: 9. What lens mount does this camera have?

A: Actually its just a CS mount, but you are able to purchase a C type ring adapter for C mount lenses. The camera comes with a 3.2mm 12MP CS mount lens.

[AAC] I purchased 3 PTC-140 cameras for a customer along with the 3 wall mounts. They are easy to setup and mount. Great product. Love Datavideo products and their tech support is great! 5

[1/2.3" CMOS] Works with DVD players, unlike most monitors. Pretty good monitor but the sun hood is really cheap, stick-on velcro doesn't bond well to the plastic hood. 5

[RTMP(S), SRT] The Datavido HDR-80 is a compact video recorder for up to four SDI 1080p60 camera feeds at once. It records to a pair of SSD carts, in a tag-team (serial) fashion. You can hot-swap a filled drive for continuous operation. Setup is straight forward, with a touch screen. Recordings are in Apple ProRes422, including standard, HQ, LT, and Proxie compression. It can also record one channel of 4K60, via HDMI or SDI. As a real plus, the HDR-80 writes file headers continually, so that you lose only a few seconds of video if the power fails. 5

[H.264, H.265] I used a green screen and it works very well. It certainly does much better than the old equipment. It would have been better if the BG source could be put into a file through the memory or the input BG source could be kept frozen. In other words, BG must be continuously supplied from the computer's HDMI. 5
