A: I don't know whether it works with that type of battery. It works with the battery for my Panasonic camcorder. The charger kit came with my camcorder as a package deal. However if you could get a charger that used a USB port instead just a wall outlet you would find it much more versatile and convenient. The charger I have will only work for US 110 volt power. A USB charger can easily be used to charge from a outlet with a USB adapter, in a car accessary USB plug, laptop, or even from a solar panel.

[5 A] This works just as well as the original Panasonic and you get an extra USB port. Initially, I was having trouble getting it to charge with the Panasonic charger but it worked after a few tries, now no problems at all. I would recommend it. 5

[5 A] I use this AG-VBR compatible battery with my new Panasonic HC-X1 camcorder. I shot UHD 24p continuously for 7.25 hours before the camera shutdown from low battery (on tripod with LCD screen active). I like how the optional D-tap power port on the back of the battery can power a third-party on-camera light while still powering the camera. I also like the remaining power indicator lights that can tell me how much charge is left in the battery. I don't know how long it takes to fully charge because I do it overnight, but it's always full charged in the morning! 5

[5 A] I JUST LOVE THIS BATTERY... I have two of them now, in addition to three of the Panasonic batteries. Really, I only ever use this battery. I've had shoots that were six hours of camera-on-time and never had to use the Panasonics... These batteries last forever. 5

[0.85 lb] I don't like charging my batteries in camera. If you want to carry a spare charged battery with you while shooting with the battery in camera, you have to have a way to charge that spare. The Bescor battery charger does the job. You can be charging a spare while you're out shooting with your camera. 5

[0.85 lb] I shoot for the better part of the day with my Panasonic UX180 so they last a long time. The weight of the larger size battery helps balance the camera on my tripod setup as well. I 'm not seeing the looseness or play that others have commented on with the two I have. In fact, the Panasonic battery that was included has more play in than the IDX batteries. 5
