Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this fit the Mamiya Pro TL?

A: I use it with my Mamiya RZ 67 and it works great! I'm less familiar with the Mamiya pro TL but after doing a quick google image search it looks like that camera has the same grommet as mine.

Q: 2. what's the difference between type A and type B

A: The "A" connector fits a lug with a round post up to 0.122" wide; the "B" connector fits a lug with a square post up to 0.162 wide. This is shown in the photos on each product page.

Q: 3. Helloo,Are the B connectors included in this price with the strap?Thank you

A: Yes, the B connectors are included with the OP/TECH USA Super Pro Strap.

Q: 4. Does this fit the Mamiya C330f?

A: Not sure but it does fit my Mamiya 645 1000s. Works just fine.

Q: 5. Would the straps fit a telescope tripod with 1.75" dia legs - all 3 equaling a little over 5" total diameter?

A: Yes, OP/TECH USA Tripod Strap have fully adjustable strap. You can easily fasten the strap to a1.75'' diameter.

Q: 6. How does this one compares to the Tamrac N25? I have a 20yo N25 which is great but need a second one and is discontinued, any replacements?

A: This strap is a little thicker and stretches more. It should be more comfortable, especially with heavier equipment.

Q: 7. Am I missing something to connect this to my Pentax 67? I just bought it and bought this strap and I can't figure out how it would fit. The B seems like the wrong shape, even though it's not supposed to be. Are there instructions anywhere or photos of how the B attaches to a Pentax 67?

A: If you visit the Super Pro Strap's webpage on the manufacturer's OP/TECH USA website, there is a tab called "Instructions" in the center of the webpage that shows images of how the strap connects to the lugs on medium format cameras such as the Pentax 6x7 and 6x7 II. Above this section between the images and the "Instructions" tab is a "Videos" section that has a video showing how to connect the strap to the lug nut on your camera. Alternatively, you may also visit YouTube and type "Super Pro™ - System Connectors - OP/TECH USA" into the Search bar to view the above video on YouTube's website.

Q: 8. Does this fit an SLR with a battery grip installed?

A: Yes it would because the strap is long enough to allow adjustment needed.

Q: 9. Can the pad in this strap be used with the Pro Loop System Connectors (OPSCPLXL) instead of the included 3/8" straps?

A: Yes, the OP/TECH USA Classic Strap (Navy Blue) is fully compatible with the Pro Loop System Connectors.

Q: 10. Will this strap affect the use of an L-bracket on the camera?

A: You can still use the E-Z Grip Strap when using an L-bracket; however, you wouldn't need the base plate that comes with the E-Z Grip Strap since the tripod mount area is being used to attach your L-bracket. Instead, you would need to be able to attach the 3/8" webbing of the E-Z Grip Strap to your L-Bracket. As long as you have an area on your L-bracket to attach this webbing, you should still be able to configure the E-Z Grip Strap to work with your set up. I hope that this is helpful. All the best!

[0.155 lb] I have not gotten the chance to break it in much, but it attaches quickly and easily. It is very adjustable and comfortable, and it feels very solid.

[Neoprene/Nylon] I've purchased this same strap for previous cameras and they are still working perfectly after years in the field. This is a quality product. It's comfortable and is the perfect length that you can wear it 'around your neck' when you are making photos. If you need to carry the camera (not making photos) you can put it over one shoulder and across your chest and camera stays against your body but is not in the way.

[0.155 lb] It works very well for Canon 5D & 24-105L as a strap replacement. Much more comforable than carrying the camera on your neck. Plus your right hand is warm. Don't think it adds anything to camera stability. Not sure whether this will be the case for lighter camera/heavier lens, though.

[Neoprene/Nylon] I have a gripped 40D and 1DMK2. I use the grip strap interchangeably on both cameras. With a Sigma 150-500 mounted on either camera the grip strap fits my hand securely and holds tight on my hand when I let go of the camera and just let it hang there. The strap was easy to mount, is easy to adjust, and it allows excellent access to the various camera controls that I use most often. It is comfortable too. I have an OP/TECH sling strap and a neck strap that I use depending on what lens I have mounted on either of my cameras. With the UNI-LOOP connectors I can switch between any of my OP/TECH gear quickly and easily. OP/TECH products are part of a great system and very reasonably priced. I recommend you look at the grip strap if you are in the market for a camera hand strap.

[Neoprene/Nylon] My hand is small and when I first started attaching the grip and trying to fit it to my hand, I was ready to send it back. Persistent that I am, I decided to more closely follow the directions. It worked!!! I love this grip strap - using it on a 5D Mark III with a battery grip attached. I did not use the tripod plate because the battery grip already has a built-in bracket for it. If you're looking for comfort and support, I highly recommend this grip.

[Yes] I just upgraded to a Canon 60D and love using the camera at different heights with the flip screen. The only problem with this is that the neck strap doesn't reach but now that I use the hand grip I don't have to worry about dropping the camera or having it snatched out of my hand.

[Neoprene/Nylon] Taking pictures has always been fun for me, but there has always been one pain in the neck (the neck strap). If you carry a small lens, neck straps are not to bad. But for large lens neck straps become impracticable. As an alternative try the GRIP STRAP by Op/Tech USA. It is a little quirky to get on the camera, not hard but quirky, but once on LET THE FUN BEGIN. Slide your hand in, button two buttons and the camera becomes part of your hand. As you take pictures the strap becomes invisible, it is unnoticed and never gets in the way. Between pictures the Grip holds the camera; your hand isn't free to do other things, you are holding a camera, But the Grip and your hand hold the camera while you look for the next shot. The Grip fits between the neck strap loop on the top right of the camera and the tripod mount on the bottom. The neck strap loop on my camera, Sony's Alpha 230, is tight for any attachment. I've tried to get a neck strap attached but other then the one strap supplied with the camera, NOTHING fit. I find the fault with the camera design, not the Grip. But once attached the Grip is a breeze. Here's my one disclaimer, you do need it attached to the camera properly and snapped to your wrist properly, after that you can forget about the camera between shots. For I've tried. Take a picture and let the camera/arm fall to your side. The camera isn't going anywhere. You can let go of the camera, I've tried, and the Grip holds the camera to your wrist. And the padding holds it comfortably to to your wrist. The only real problem with it, if it can be called a problem, is that for cameras that shoot in a non-square format, you can take picture one way and not the other. My camera has a 2x3 format, so when I take portrait pictures, my hand must be on top of the camera, to hold the camera with my hand on the bottom would break my wrist. Wonderful attachment, wish I'd found it earlier.

[0.155 lb] Works well, and not very expensive. I like the fact that you can quickly remove it and connect to neck strap when needed.
