Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is the nylon chord on the Cam Strap QD (1801021) model, 1mm or 1.5mm?

A: The cord that attaches to the camera is, according to my best measurement, 1 mm. It needs to pass through the eyelet on the camera doubled.

Q: 2. strap compatible with mirrorless canon mark M6 II?

A: Yes, this strap is compatible with the Canon M6.

Q: 3. will this be ok for a Leica M6 or M3 body?

A: Hi! I agree with previous comments, this is more for heavy things. But check out the OP TECH Super Classic Strap - Pro Loop instead. I use this for my binoculars, and it fits well with lighter equipment. I am not familiar with Leica M3 or M6, but from pictures I have looked upon, it seems the fixation points for the strap may have quite small holes. You may need to put some small key-chain rings of appropriate size into the fixed attachment points on the camera body, before attaching the pro-loop. But anyhow, the OP TECH straps are the best I have ever found out there, and my first strap for an heavy Photo Bag, is still in use after more than 10 years. I nowadays use them on all photoequipment and binoculars, it is just to find the right model. Good luck and I hope you find the one that suits your need.

Q: 4. Will this wrist strap fit the Canon SL3 and attache securely?

A: The recommended Wrist Straps for your Canon SL3 are the SLR Wrist Strap and the Gotcha Wrist Strap. These are both have a recommended load of up to 10 lbs. while the Cam Strap QD has a recommended load of up to 2.5 lbs. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/542422-REG/OP_TECH_USA_6701062_SLR_Wrist_Strap_Black.html https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/118894-REG/OP_TECH_USA_6701252_Gotcha_Wrist_Strap_Black.html

Q: 5. I saw that the outer cover layers are glued to the foam rather than stitched (and the foam edges are exposed). Wouldn't it be an issue over time? Start peeling off?

A: These straps hold up well overtime, it is possible that it can become separated but that has not been a known issue.

Q: 6. will this work with a samsung nx3000?

A: Unfortunately this strap will not work on your Samsung Camera. The openings on the side of the camera are very small. You can get D Rings then the strap will work. We don't carry this type of item, but you can get at a Hardware Store. They look like very small and thin key rings.

Q: 7. Would this be usable with a Canon G7xii?

A: I am a Nikon girl so I don't know for sure but I can't image it not working if you have two triangular attachments one on each side of your camera.

Q: 8. I am purchasing a Panasonic ZS100. Would this be a good strap for the camera?

A: Yes, you can use split rings to connect OP/TECH USA Pro Loop Strap with the Panasonic Lumix DMC-ZS100 Digital Camera. Please open the following link if you need this accessory. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1437716-REG/ruggard_tsr_2pk_split_triangle_d_ring_twin.html

Q: 9. Is this strong enough to use with a fujifilm x-t4 and a small zoom

A: It is rates to support up to 2.5 pounds but since there are many lens options for the Fuji that would exceed that limit, I would recommend a stronger strap such as this USA Gear: https://bhpho.to/3uyRSsR

Q: 10. Can the pad in this strap be used with the Pro Loop System Connectors (OPSCPLXL) instead of the included 3/8" straps?

A: Yes, the OP/TECH USA Classic Strap (Navy Blue) is fully compatible with the Pro Loop System Connectors.

[0.155 lb] Great strap especially when there is a heavy lens attached to the camera.

[Neoprene/Nylon] The OP/TECH Pro Strap is well-made, and fits my camera well. Installation was about as easy as any camera strap can be. With a 100-400 zoom on my camera, the strap (as a neck strap) really spreads the weight and makes carrying the combo much more comfortable than the OE strap. For me, the strap is well worth the (modest) price.

[0.155 lb] They apparently don't make the original strap any more. This is a good replacement.

[0.155 lb] Such a pleasant change from the skinny straps the camera comes with.

[0.155 lb] This is a great strap and last longer than you manage to keep it before misplacing at some point. Which given how convenient it is to unbuckle it, which I often do, is easy to forget it somewhere. Price is more than fair in 2022, which is almost the same as it was nearly 20 years ago.

[0.155 lb] Got this for a Leupold Golden Ring 10x42 that is considered heavy compared to others. I don't like harnesses and didn't have the factory strap. This one was very comfortable and I didn't notice the weight at all. It also adjusts up close which is how I prefer it for quick access and especially to keep the binocular from swinging and banging around. I highly recommend this strap.

[Red] I've been using these straps for years. Whenever I get a new camera I order a new one.

[0.155 lb] This was the second Pro Strap I've bought. I had already bought a blue one for my DSLR a few years ago and found it to be the most comfortable neck strap I've ever owned. I bought a green one to replace the stock strap that came with my binoculars.
