I am not familiar with Leica M3 or M6, but from pictures I have looked upon, it seems the fixation points for the strap may have quite small holes. You may need to put some small key-chain rings of appropriate size into the fixed attachment points on the camera body, before attaching the pro-loop. But anyhow, the OP TECH straps are the best I have ever found out there, and my first strap for an heavy Photo Bag, is still in use after more than 10 years.
