The ROGETI C32K Center Column for T32Max Tripodfrom ROGETI C32K Center Column for T32Max Tripodis an interchangeable center column for the T32Max tripod system. The C32L is a lightweight long center column, weighing only 0.49 lb and approximately 19.7" in length. The top plate features a 3/8"-16 male mount to fit most tripod heads. Q: 7. Is that a 3/8 screw and can it be unscrewed/elongated?

A: The mounting screw is 3/8 . I checked to see if the screw was adjustable and, if it is, it is VERY tight. I was not willing to torque the mounting plate or screw hard enough to find out. I mounted a tripod head on the 3/8 -16 screw without any problem but I suppose other uses might be problematic. The screw does not appear to reverse to 1/4 -20 threads, for example. Otherwise the column is very well made.I am using this column, attached to a sturdy clamp, as an extension arm for mounting a camera on a tripod head remotely.

Q: 8. Will the Nitrotech N8 head work well these legs? The N8 has a 75mm flat base that would screw onto the 50mm base of this tripod. Just wondering if that is too much weight for the leveling column or if the N8 would obscure the view of the bubble level.

A: The Nitrotech N8 head will work with these tripod legs. These legs have a 3/8"-16 stud that will fit in to the N8's 3/8-16" thread. The bubble level on this tripod may be obscured, but keep in mind that the N8 has its own bubble level that you will be able to use instead.

[Black] I've had good experiences with these legs. The legs extend very smoothly. I love the center column for quick height adjustments. Sleek carbon legs and red annodized parts make this a very good looking tripod as well as sturdy. 5

[Black] This thing is perfect. Smooth as butter fluid head, sturdy, durable, lock tight. As a wedding videographer, I recently purchased it as my old tripod was wearing out. The price is reasonable, so I wasn't sure it would be a fit for a main or #1 tripod, but it definitely is. Performance-wise, this unit has no flaws. It's perfect and can handle whatever job you give it. Definitely gets the 5 star rating however I'll give some cons I may have, but minor issues. Mostly, it's large. Nothing extraordinary, but a bit gawky. When all the way up it does get higher (6 feet?) than other tripods whereas others tend to max out upwards of 5 feet. It actually works ok when only opening the lower legs, without the upper. Also, the leg locks are tight, but them plus the legs are a tad bigger than others. I shoot using a camcorder sized Sony X70, so it definitely holds the weight & then some. Can easily handle much larger cameras, and maybe its a bit larger for my camera, but I needed something durable with a smooth head. The bag it comes with is really nice, with a shoulder strap. (fyi I'm not sure why, but the camera mounting plate comes tucked into a pocket within the bag. Took me a while to find it & I thought it came without one for a sec). Again its a great tripod, slightly on a larger size (seems close to something TV news uses, only not $1000), but its size wouldn't hamper your shooting style nor run n gun ability. It's not heavy at all, lighter than my other tripod, so carrying isn't an issue. Packs pretty easily in the bag for quick in & out travel. Again, great tripod, can't recommend it enough as a #1. 5

[Black] This is a premium quality lightweight tripod. The carbon fiber makes the legs stiff, strong and lightweight. They adjust in height quickly, easily and securely. However, my favorite feature in this tripod is the center column. It has the rare dual feature of being able to adjust height and level. The ball head at the top of the center column is used to level the camera by loosening the knob at the base of the center column. The height of the camera can be adjusted quickly without having to mess with 3 legs. I highly recommend this tripod for lightweight professional cameras. 5
