Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this strap going to fit with Panasonic zs70?

A: Yes, it will fit on the ZS70.

Q: 2. Is this OP/Tech wrist strap going to fit with Panasonic LX100?

A: Yes, you can use this strap with the LX100.

Q: 3. Can this strap be used with the original Pentax 6x7 lugs? Most straps are too narrow where the lug attaches and it slides around too much. I guess I am asking if this strap has wider material where the lug is secured, compared to a typical camera strap.

A: the strap is 12mm or 15/32 inches wide

Q: 4. Could you remove the metal clips on the ends and replace with the Really Right Stuff QD strap swivel (low profile)?

A: The metal clips on the end of the OP/TECH USA Mini S.O.S. Strap (Black) cannot be removed and replaced.

Q: 5. Is this strap waterproof?

A: While I haven't tried it in very wet conditions, I would say no, based on the material it is made of. The cushioning portion of the strap is a kind of spongy, slightly stretchy material that looks like it would absorb water, and over repeated soaking might tend to disintegrate.

Q: 6. Years ago I used these but with one problem. They stained my t-shirts in hot weather. Is this still a problem?

A: I put mini-carabiner clips on the strap so I can remove it easily, and can also use it on different cameras, as desired.

Q: 7. Will this strap fit a canon g5x mark II. Does it need any other hardware for where clips on?

A: The E-Z Comfort Strap is one that is recommended for your camera. It attaches with 3/8" webbing; as long as the connection points on the camera will accommodate the 3/8" webbing, you will not need anything else. If the connection points are smaller, you may want to attach small split rings to the camera.

Q: 8. when you disconnect the neck strap from the parts attached to the camera body, can you connect the two ends of the neck portion (is one end male and the other female) to make a loop to fit over your neck?

A: You should be able to connect it, but the length will be way too short to go around the neck. That's the only thing.

Q: 9. will it fit canon mirrorless mark M6 II?

A: The thickness of the loop material is probably too thick to insert into the M6 II eyelet. I would recommend the Optech strap for smaller cameras. You can click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/38emDZe

Q: 10. Is this a new camera

A: The OP/TECH USA Mini Loop Strap-QD (Black) is a new strap. All items are new unless stated otherwise.

[0.16 lb] I got this for a 1962 Minolta Autocord that has standard lugs for straps. The strap is the right length for waist-level shooting, and seems robust enough for this 2 lb camera. The material is not extremely slip-proof, so I wear the strap either around my neck for shooting, or bandolier style (across a shoulder) for carrying. The thick part of the strap comes off with quick-relases, making tripod-based shooting convenient, when appropriate.

[0.16 lb] This is a comfortable strap for a DSLR. In the cold, the memory foam gets pretty stiff, so I switch to a different strap during the winter.

[Royal Blue] I've had this strap on my D300 for years and like it because it is comfortable, unobtrusive, and relatively small. I also like the fact that it doesn't have a big camera company logo on it. I just bought a D500 and bought another one of these straps for my new camera. I'm a long-time user and second-time buyer.

[Royal Blue] I have an OP/Tech shoulder sling that I use most of the time but there was times where I still wanted to use a neck strap and this fits the bill wonderfully. All I have to do is unsnap the camera from the shoulder strap and snap to this and vice versa. Just takes a matter of seconds.

[Neoprene/Nylon] I bought one of these 13 years ago. I look for comfortable gear that does not stand out as Crazy photo nerd/parent! This strap is very subdued in size compared to many of the ones out there. The cushion material holds up very well. I took 450,000 photos, and many hours of video with the camera this was attached to. It lasted. It looks nearly new, comparing it to my new one. I recently bought a new camera, and decided to get another identical strap. My older strap was on a heavy Sony A99 camera. I use good glass, but not the even heavier white professional lenses. I cannot attest how that extra weight works. I like being able to extend the length fairly easily. I highly recommend for those trying to avoid the 2+ inch wide straps, while remaining comfortable. I would obviously recommend these to anyone, if it fits your requirements.

[0.16 lb] Perfect, comfortable and the clasps allow two lenghts. Disconnect the strap and the two ends can clasp thus providing for a short hand-hold strap. The other great thing is the Op/Tech system has many cable accessories such as expansion/extension straps that can all interconnect. So, if you need a longer strap for backpacking etc., just buy their extension straps. They all work together.

[0.16 lb] I've purchased this same strap for previous cameras and they are still working perfectly after years in the field. This is a quality product. It's comfortable and is the perfect length that you can wear it 'around your neck' when you are making photos. If you need to carry the camera (not making photos) you can put it over one shoulder and across your chest and camera stays against your body but is not in the way.
