  • Hundreds of tension-charged clusters are available in several dynamic levels, short and long, with and without marcato, and as short and long crescendos.
  • Sustained textures are grouped in several categories, some either slightly changing in pitch (microtuning) or gravitating slowly toward the root note (or vice versa).
  • Others don’t change in pitch but in volume with different sections of the orchestra alternating their volumes, resulting in a sustained tone that’s constantly changing its colors.
  • A seagull arpeggio effect is created by flageolet glissandos played on open strings, with the accompanying wind instruments playing arpeggios that follow the overtone series of the strings.
  • The so-called Shuffled Sustains deliver some form of controlled chaos, where different groups of the orchestra play complementary rhythmic patterns.
  • Due to its complex structure, this effect can be used independently of tempo and provides a propelling density that lends itself well to underscores, for instance.

  • A special effect for dramatic accents is provided by the Graced patch, in which the instruments of the high register rip toward a target note, which is reinforced by the rest of the orchestra with a powerful marcato-staccato.
  • The staccato-sordino sustains provide a special spine-tingling sensation—while the fortississimo staccato of brass and low strings rings out, a very soft high note played by the muted strings remains, illustrating the dynamic range of the orchestra in a split second.
  • Big Bang Orchestra: Black Eye provides a wide range of classic orchestra hits with all major, minor, open and diminished chords, octave grace notes, octave trills, and a variety of short rips, as well as longer major and minor runs in breathtaking tempos where the instruments of the lowest register were deliberately pushed to their limits.
  • The Echoes and the Register Delay patches add even more variety to the category of Hits.

  • The included Con Sordino bonus library offers beautifully enigmatic and gentle tutti performances.
  • It encompasses all the basic articulations, played very softly by the entire orchestra, in the range from pianississimo to mezzopiano.
  • All string and brass ensembles play con sordino (muted), while the woodwind ensemble consists of different instruments to avoid the higher registers that would stand out from the ensemble.
  • It includes two alto flutes, one bass flute, two English horns, one heckelphone, two bass clarinets, one contrabass clarinet, two bassoons, and one contrabassoon.

  • The section microphones can be independently adjusted in the integrated mixer of the Synchron Player, allowing you to emphasize the power of certain sections and giving you more freedom to modify your overall string sound.
  • Six levels of reverberation and additional processed presets are offered for each microphone setup: Close, Classic, Wide, Distant, Ambient, and Wet.
  • Change the level, panning, delay, and channel-EQ settings for each channel. You can also insert any of the built-in FX plug-ins to further optimize your sound

  • Room Mix Presets: Based on a room mix created from all available room microphones
  • Stereo Decca Tree Presets: The Decca Tree is the microphone tree that is the heart and soul of every orchestral recording. It consists of a main stereo channel and a mono center channel, which capture the details of the room from the conductor's perspective
  • Surround-to-Stereo Presets: Offer the massive sound of all available room microphones including the Decca Tree mics down-mixed to a stereo signal
  • Surround Presets: With your Synchron Player inserted as a surround plug-in in your DAW, these presets provide the starting point for your surround setup
  • Processed Presets: The presets use the integrated compressor to achieve an even more powerful sound of the Big Bang Orchestra. Feel free to add more FX as you create the symphonic sound of your desire

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I have a ps5 and MacBook with usb interface. With one set of speakers. Can I switch between both sources and keep one speaker for all?

A: Yes, the Mackie Big Knob Passive Studio Monitor Controller does allow you to switch between input sources and send the audio from both sources out to one set of speakers.

Q: 2. What Junior based boom will work well with the Para 133 with mono light.

A: Although this Kupo Big Boom would be suitable for the Broncolor Para 133 with a monolight attached, another option to consider is the Manfrotto 025BSL Super Boom ONLY, Black - 8.8' (2.7 m), BH # MA025BSL https://bhpho.to/3tZZiFW

Q: 3. Will this record through USB to 4 separate channels? What exactly does 2x4 when referencing USB mean? I am NOT referencing the analog inputs/outputs, ONLY how it relates SPECIFICALLY to USB.

A: The 2x4 means this interface will send 2 channels (Left and Right ) to a recording program for recording, and will return 4 playback channels for monitoring. This will only record 2 tracks at one time.

Q: 4. Have Mackie HR824s, what type of plugs are on the Big knob passive?

A: Yes, as already has been answered, it uses 1/4 inputs and one 1/8 input that replaces 1/4 input on input B. And as mentioned, no software, no power. Just plug and play!

Q: 5. where are these made?

A: These Binocular's are made in Canada.

Q: 6. Does it allow you to play both monitors at the same time?

A: No, the Mackie Big Knob Passive Studio Monitor Controller allows you to choose between two audio sources and two monitor pairs. This means that you can connect the monitor controller to two different pairs of monitors and choose which pair that you want to hear. You can only listen to one pair at a time, but not both pairs at the same time.

Q: 7. Is this too heavy for a manfrotto 1052bac?

A: It is compatible but if you use it extended it might tip. And in general I would use it with a sand bag.And if you do you should use it with another grip.Note that an arm like that is not made for heavy items like studio strobes. It is really made for cards, gobos and smaller lights like speedlights. For heavier items it is best to use a boom. And those can be boom arms, boom kits or boom stand combos. But the boom arms you should use a heavier and stronger stand.

Q: 8. What is the payload at minimum extension?

A: Unfortunately, the manufacturer was not able to provide a load capacity at the minimum extension. However, they state that being that boom can hold up to 13.2 lbs at maximum extension, it would have the ability to hold much more at the minimum.

Q: 9. Do these wheels fit the Slider Stand (249561)? If so, how much height do they add?

A: They are not compatible.

Q: 10. Does this unit come with cables?

A: The Mackie Big Knob Passive Studio Monitor Controller does not include any cables.

[Download] Excellent. Two intensities. Light covers all of music stand very well.
Batteries included are the rechargeable type. Leaving them in keeps them fully charged. I couldn't have bought better and for good price.

[Yes] I hand color grayscale images and frequently use a large clipboard to hold my art work while sitting on the sofa. I use this light to clip on the top of my board. The clamp is large and secure with the on/ off button and ax port on top for easy access. The illumination is even, no glare and has 2 levels of brightness. The head can be twisted or angled if needed. I am very pleased with it as it works perfect for my needs.

[Download] While the 9-LED version is more commonly advertised and sold, this 10-LED version is a better deal! Besides illuminating a slightly larger area, and slightly brighter due to the extra LED, it comes supplied with an AC-power supply so batteries become optional instead of mandatory, and at the time I bought it, cost less than the 9-LED model!

[Orchestral] Worked. It's abit big but it does just barely fit in my instrument bag. Good solid build quality for the price, and the ac adapter is an added bonus.

[Standard] Received my light and used it next day for my big band gig, then following Saturday for my Latin six piece Like the 2 modes of full and half dim. Easy to use and the light is well designed to hold unto stand without obstructing my view of music.

[Orchestral] Two light levels is great. Use low level for gigs. Long battery life. Works great with clip on music stand.

[13.8 GB] This light is at least as bright as the Mighty Bright, and less expensive. I also really like that the switch is on the battery cover, where pushing it doesn't change the position of the arm. I'm using it as a piano lamp and it illuminates 3 pages at once very well.

[Orchestral] I bought this clip on light to use as a portable light for plein air painting at night (nocturnes). It was very affordable and works great! Gives me a nice spread of light on both canvas and palette as I paint in the dark. It fits well in my kit. I haven't pushed the battery life yet but I always carry extra just to be prepared.
