Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will it work with Focusrite Saffire 14 and Media Tech SFX Pro 2 Microphone?

A: Unfortunately the Media Tech SFX Pro 2 mic can not be adapted for use with an XLR mic input. This adapter will only operate with mics terminated in an 1/8 jack that are dynamic in design or battery powered.

Q: 2. Would this cable provide separate tracks out of the UwMic9, or will it be both channels mixed into both XLR’s?

A: Both channels would be mixed on both XLRs because all of the audio from both microphones is coming from a single output on the Saramonic RX9 receiver.

Q: 3. What adapters would be required to use the Rode Video Mic Pro (stereo) with a Tascam DR-40 and not go to mono?

A: Why not just connect 2 XLR ports on the mic to the 2 XLR ports on the recorder using simple XLR-XLR cables? Am I missing something?

Q: 4. Attempting to connect iphone se to Irig Pre to VXLT to Galagy GT-V Trek. Will this work. And can I take the IRIG headphone out and connect to mixer for monitoring/recording? Thanks

A: We are not aware of this working in that case.

Q: 5. Can i use this with a Rode smartyLav + and the Zoom Podtrak4?Podtrak is supposed to deliver phantom power to the xlr input

A: When using a TRS lavalier microphone with an XLR mic input, you would want to use the Rode VXLR Pro (BH #ROVXLRPRO) to convert 48v phantom power to plugin power for the lavalier. The Rode Smartlav+ uses a TRRS connector meant for smart phones and mobile devices, so before using it with this adapter you will need to convert its TRRS connection to a TRS connection with an adapter such as the Rode SC3 (BH #ROSC3).

Q: 6. Would this cable work with a Rode Go II receiver?

A: Yes, the Saramonic SR-UM10-CC1 would be compatible with the Rode Wireless GO II receiver.

Q: 7. How long is the Locking 3.5mm TRS to XLR-Male cable?

A: The cable is 16" long, minus the connectors. End to end, connector to connector it is approximately 21.25".

Q: 8. Is the Senal Right-Angle Locking 1/8" Mini to 3-Pin XLR Output Cable (15") a truly balanced connector?

A: Yes. This is a balanced connector.

Q: 9. Are these balanced or unbalanced?

A: These cables are balanced.

Q: 10. Can I use this to connect a Rode VideoMic Pro to a Tascam DR-40

A: Yes, you can use this to adapt the 3.5mm output from the mic to the XLR input on the Tascam.

[Yes] I bought this cable to route the dual outputs from my Rode Wireless Go II receiver to my audio recorder. For my uses, it works perfectly...I haven't had the cable for very long, so I can't speak on the durability yet...

[0.41 lb] The gold connectors and braided cable are very nice touches. I've had no issues with interference since i got these, whereas before I did with the cheap cables. Very happy, and will buy again.

[Yes] Hi! I was really looking for something that could go from a rode wireless pro into a pro field recorder, and this dangles a bit much in a mixer bag. That's why I also covered my bases with the ALZO 3.5mm Female to Dual XLR Male Stereo Microphone Adapter Cord for Pro Camcorders

[0.41 lb] These cables are a more than solid performer and include features that other more expensive cables (i.e. Mogami) lack.
