Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will my Azden WM-Pro wireless microphone with a 3.5mm plug work with my Canon XA20 Camcorders XLR inputs using your Rode VXLR Adapter?

A: Yes, Rode's VXLR - Mono Mini-Jack to XLR Converter, is designed to do exactly what you wish.

Q: 2. Would this cable work with a Rode Go II receiver?

A: Yes, the Saramonic SR-UM10-CC1 would be compatible with the Rode Wireless GO II receiver.

Q: 3. Would this cable provide separate tracks out of the UwMic9, or will it be both channels mixed into both XLR’s?

A: Both channels would be mixed on both XLRs because all of the audio from both microphones is coming from a single output on the Saramonic RX9 receiver.

Q: 4. is it compatible with saramonic blink 500 pro?

A: Yes you can use the Saramonic SR-UM10-C35XLR with the Saramonic Blink 500 Pro receiver.

Q: 5. What adapters would be required to use the Rode Video Mic Pro (stereo) with a Tascam DR-40 and not go to mono?

A: Why not just connect 2 XLR ports on the mic to the 2 XLR ports on the recorder using simple XLR-XLR cables? Am I missing something?

Q: 6. Attempting to connect iphone se to Irig Pre to VXLT to Galagy GT-V Trek. Will this work. And can I take the IRIG headphone out and connect to mixer for monitoring/recording? Thanks

A: We are not aware of this working in that case.

Q: 7. If I am wanting to connect a Sennheiser Lavalier 3.5mm directly to my Zoom F3, should I get the VXLR or VXLR+?

A: The Sennheiser lavalier microphone requires a small amount of voltage in order to function, so you will want to use the RODE VXLR+ 3.5mm TRS Female to XLR Male Adapter with Phantom Power Converter (B&H # ROVXLRP), which will allow you to use phantom power from the XLR mic input on the Zoom F3 Portable Field Recorder and then convert it to the proper amount of plug-in power that the mic requires. The RODE VXLR 3.5mm TRS Female to XLR Male Adapter (B&H # ROVXLR) will only convert the plug on the microphone from 3.5mm to XLR, but it will not convert phantom power to plug-in power.

Q: 8. Is this adapter cable compatible with any XLR microphone?

A: No . It is compatible withe listed Saramonic products.

Q: 9. Is there a version of this cable without a locking connector?

A: No, we don't make one like that. But you can easily push back the locking connector and it does not impede the use at all. I use one with a Blink 500 and Blink 500 Pro system all the time.

Q: 10. Is this the best choice to connect the line out from the Zoom H3-VR to the XLR input of the Zoom F8nPro? Is there a best cable your recommend?

A: Instead of using the Rode VXLR Adapter, you can use a single cable with the appropriate connectors to send the output from the Zoom H3-VR Audio Recorder into the XLR inputs on the Zoom F8n Pro Field Recorder. Use a cable like the Kopul Stereo Right-Angle 1/8" Male Mini-Jack to XLR Male Cable - 6' (B&H # KORSMXM06) for connection to a single input or the Hosa Technology Pro Stereo Breakout Cable - 3.5mm Stereo Mini to Dual 3-Pin XLR Male - 6' (B&H # HOHMX006Y) for connection to dual inputs.

[0.775 lb] The gold connectors and braided cable are very nice touches. I've had no issues with interference since i got these, whereas before I did with the cheap cables. Very happy, and will buy again.

[Black] Hi! I was really looking for something that could go from a rode wireless pro into a pro field recorder, and this dangles a bit much in a mixer bag. That's why I also covered my bases with the ALZO 3.5mm Female to Dual XLR Male Stereo Microphone Adapter Cord for Pro Camcorders
