The Core SWX Dual Battery Bracket for SmallHD Monitorsfrom Core SWX Dual Battery Bracket for SmallHD Monitorsis designed to power your SmallHD 4K production monitor using one or two 14V or Helix Max Gold mount batteries. This battery plate features a direct, cable-free plug-in design and easy mounting on the monitor's Arca-Swiss SmartRail.

The bracket's dual design enables hot-swapping between two batteries as well as the monitor's 3-pin XLR power port. The bracket also features two D-Tap outputs that provide 2A output to also power a variety of accessories.

A: Supplying the power is just like putting a charged battery into the GoPro. You still need to turn it on afterwards. Wireless will also be off until re-activated.

Q: 7. Is the DC to DC step-down converter in the dummy battery box capable of handling input voltage higher than the average USB 5v? I'm hoping it's one of those step-downs that can handle 4.5 to 12 or 19, etc volts in because I want to use this with hard-wired vehicle power instead of a 12v to USB adapter. I'm not interested in adapters - I only want to know if I can feed in higher voltage and it will correctly convert to the 3.7-4V that the GoPro needs.

A: CamDo has a version that will support up to 24V input.

Q: 8. Will this power the Red V-Raptor XL and Alexa 35?

A: The ALEXA 35 is B-Mount and whichever form factor you went with, would need to be converted to operate this camera. Because the Core SWX Helix 150 Mini 147Wh Dual-Voltage Battery battery has Dual-Voltage mode and can produce 28V output, it CAN power the ALEXA 35. The Core SWX Helix 150 Mini 147Wh Dual-Voltage Battery can also power the RED Digital Cinema V-Raptor, however it must be done with D-TAP, because the battery is too wide to be mounted directly onto the V-Raptor itself.

Q: 9. If I'm using 26v Goldmount + can it still hotswap with a teradek on it that has a 14v goldmount plate?

A: The SmallHD 14V/26V Dual Battery Bracket (Gold-Mount Plus) would support 26v batteries. However, it the other GM Plate is only 14v it will not work with 26v batteries.

Q: 10. Is this for ALL SmallHD 4k monitors? Specifically the 13" and 18"?

A: When utilizing the SmallHD 14V/26V Dual Battery Bracket, it can be used with all of SMALLHD's 4k monitors.

[1.515 lb] Takes the place of multiple batteries, by being able to plug into the cars USB port. I purchased this in order to video log a scenic road trip; the battery eliminator saves the hassle of having to swap out the GoPro battery every couple of hours. I would recommend this alternative to anyone having a similar purpose in mind. 5

[Gold Mount] I love this product! I was impressed from the first time I installed it in the GoPro. It snapped right in with a nice fit and stays installed even while moving the camera around. When you pair this up with an external battery pack, it allows me the freedom to shoot video for much longer periods of time without worrying about losing power. Especially nice when doing timed exposures. 5

[Yes] Works with my old GoPro 3+ with the open-back case. The wire fits through the slots in the case back just fine. If you have a skeleton case, so much the better. It has breathed new life into my old camera. 5

[Gold Mount] This plate is amazing - I recommend to every SmallHD Cine13 (and up) owner I know. I love that it removes cables from the back of the monitor and leaves the XLR power open for block battery or AC power. I love that it passes power backwards to Teradeks or other gold mount accessories - so with a battery on one side and my Teradek on the other, I don't need a power cable for the Teradek - it receives power through the plate. Fantastic. The only small thing is that there is a little gap between the battery plate and the monitor, so it can shift side to side a bit. I worry that this will be the cause of its failure in the future. Other than that - perfect plate. Must have. 5

[1.515 lb] An absolute essential for anyone who has a Smallhd 4k Production Monitor. It allows for a seamless flexibility using battery power, such as V mount. Another positive is the integration for the Teradek receiver if you have the male and female battery plates. It’s a great product. Highly recommended. 5
