This 43mm Special 50th Aniversary Edition 18-stop Tiffen Solar ND Filter 43mm 18-Stop Anniversary Editionfrom Tiffen is a solid ND filter with a 262,144x filter factor that provides an 18-stop exposure reduction. Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the difference between this filter and the Master filter? Which is optically better?

A: They are the same filter. The B+W UV-Haze #010 MRC MASTER Filter (95mm), B&H # BWUVM95, does not have the "Special 50th Anniversary" branding on it. The B+W 010 UV Haze MRC Nano Filter (95mm, Special 50th Anniversary Edition) was released during B&H's 50th anniversary.

Q: 2. Is the filter ring made of brass?

A: Yes, the filter ring of the B+W 010 UV Haze MRC Nano Filter (77mm, Special 50th Anniversary Edition) is made of brass.

Q: 3. What is the light transmission with this filter?

A: The light transmission of the B+W 010 UV Haze MRC Nano Filter (77mm, Special 50th Anniversary Edition) varies with the wavelength of the light. You can find the percentage of light transmission vs. wavelength graph here: https://bhpho.to/3s4AS23.

Q: 4. I already have an AcraSwiss compatible tripod L-bracket. How does the camera mount to this strap. The product pictures dont show a detailed shot. It looks to me like the users in the photos use the standard tripod mounting screw to attach the camera to the strap. The L-bracket already uses this screw connection on the camera to mount the bracket to the body of the camera so is there any other special adapter required?

A: The native D-ring that comes on a tripod plate is not weight-bearing, the ring will pop off. We have a patented weight tested FastenR that connects to the 1/4 tripod socket on the bottom of the camera. The ConnectR then attaches to that. To attach the Arca Swiss compatible ball head, you would need to get one of our Tripod plates which have a patented weight-bearing FastenR design to work with our straps so you can easily go from strap to tripos flawlessly and with confidence.

Q: 5. Does this fit Canon RF 24-105?

A: You did not include the "f' designation of the lens. There are multiple canon lenses which fit your incomplete product description. Please visit the URL below, select the exact lens model you have then click on SPECIFICATIONS to view the filter size. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/search?q=canon%20rf%2024-105&sts=ma

Q: 6. What metal is the actual ring made of?

A: The metal is made from brass.

Q: 7. Is this a T-PRO or a MASTER?

A: B+W 010 UV Haze MRC Nano Filter (95mm, Special 50th Anniversary Edition) is part of B+W MASTER series.

Q: 8. Could you take off the square C shaped strap holder and put on a large split ring to keep the square C from coming off ???

A: Are you referring to the Brad underarm stabilizer? If so, please contact us at customerrelations@blackrapid.com so we can better assist you. Thanks!

Q: 9. What does different between B+W 82mm T-PRO UV Filter BH #BWUVTP82 • MFR #1097759 ?

A: The B+W 82mm T-PRO UV Filter is a slim filter that helps prevent vignetting on wide-angle lenses.

Q: 10. Can this be comfortably worn with a backpack?

A: I do it all the time and never think twice about it! The only complaint I have is that I have a pretty small frame and because Ive adjusted the strap the way I have, the strap tends to stick out a bit in the back/come off the hook (where its been adjusted/has a clip to hold it, but the adjustable clip on the back doesnt always hold the strap as securely when putting backpacks on and off. I just have to check to make sure it isnt sticking out funny regularly.) No photographers I know with this strap have had this complaint, but theyre mostly bulky dudes who dont have to adjustment the strap as much as I do as a slim woman.

[Glass] This was sold for the eclipse viewing, but I'm not sure that it's really rated for that. At any rate, it worked fine.

[43 mm] Bought this for the annular eclipse in Albuquerque October 14th. Don't have a digitized tracking mount, so video was not considered. Between 10 AM and 11 AM I watched the eclipse on my Lumix DMC-FZ200 LCD screen, right outside my southerly front door, as I frequently adjusted pan and tilt of my Manfrotto 804RC2 tripod head, even shortening a tripod leg a few times to get more ALT, while using my Vello Wired Remote for shutter. Got 125 shots in that hour.

[Glass] Filter worked well. The pictures of the sun were a little whiter than I thought they would be, but still good quality.

[0.095 lb] I was in San Antonio for the annular eclipse. While other regional locations had full sun where we were located had cloud cover at the time of the peak of the event. I left the filter on and got a shot of the complete ring of fire as well as the clouds that were in the way. Another photographer nearby removed their filter at the same time antipating the clouds would impact shots of the full ring (not recommended of course). Their photos were very good. My shots turned out better even with the filter on. The pictures taken during full sun and various stages of the annular were all very good. I am pleased with the results. Just note this filter will give you black and white (gray tones) pictures while others may make the ring of fire appear yellow.
