[Silver] Great for the price! Mount sets on top of speaker stand so no need to clamp and hope it doesn't slide... love this for events where I need a video screen or secondary monitor. I will deffinately be getting more of these as they are needed.

It is smooth yet offering a clean and solid grip. Eyepieces can be replaced in no time. The whole assembly is of high quality material. Top tier scopes like the 8SE deserve to be equipped with such high-end diagonal instead of the 1.25 standard that comes with them. It opens the doors to many possibilities.

[Silver] This diagonal has changed me for the better. I have another 2 inch diagonal that I was always fumbling with the tiny set screws to lock and unlock eyepieces and sometimes dropping them in the grass.
No More, the twist lock function on this is just great, no more fumbling with the screws. With the included snout it can be used as either an SCT or refractor diagonal.
Absolutely a fine product and for my shaky old hands, a blessing.

[Black] Solid, well made, and works as advertised.  I use it for panoramic shots on a P1 ball head.  Took a little adjusting, but that was easy.

[Black] This is much higher build quality than the stock diagonal. It unlocks much more ability for the telescope and the twist fit is much better than the screw-in type. Better light and clarity for viewing.

[12 AWG] What's not to like, I just received this about an hour ago and it has been cloudy for the last few days, now it is raining. Typical for an astro purchase.
This diagonal is just what my Celestron 8 has been needing, the twist lock is extremely nice, the heft and looking at the glass inside is just perfect.
I will leave another review after the cloud gods have forgiven my purchase and I get it out under the night sky.


As always B&H is great on price and shipping, I am a long time customer and always satisfied with them.

[1x speakON Male] even though the mounting holes didn't match any on the ViewSonic projector I was using, it still is very stable yet easily adjustable. I used ratchet straps and zipties to make sure the projector didn't go anywhere!

[1x 1/4" TS Male] I got this diagonal to upgrade from the 1.25 diagonal that came with the telescope. It appears to be of good quality and I really like the twist lock feature to secure the eyepieces. This is the only diagonal I have used, so I really cannot make a comparison to others, but I am pleased with the bright and clear views it provides.
