Q: 3. How's the interior height measured? Is it from the bottom of the interior to the top of the interior (cap not included)? By the top, I mean the back of the body, as shown in the 3rd picture.

A: The interior measurement would be the measurement of the inside of the lens pouch from the bottom interior to the top interior when the lid closed. Do note the material from which the lens pouch is manufactured is neoprene and does have the ability to stretch slightly, but the measurement should be for standard usage without stretching the material.

A: Don't know about Nikon. We bought this for a 35 mm Canon lens and it's a good fit.

A: Button is metal. It also unscrewed itself even though I frequently tightened. The original Abrasom button I had also unscrewed itself. They work great but I cannot keep them on. I am not willing to use lock tight on my Leica.

[Zipper] These things are great. I carry lenses in them, I just got one for a monocular. I use a white gel pen to write on them with identifying info... although it takes a lot of repeated overwriting until it is easily readable, the neoprene fabric covering is quite porous. 5

[Zipper] A lot of cushioning for the lens. It isn't going to make things drop proof or anything along those lines, but for basic decrease in dust and bump proofing, they're fantastic. As another reviewer put it, great for going into the bag. I also feel better putting a wide angle in the backpack on the off chance I feel like some landscape work when out with the super tele- this allows the lens to ride along without the need for serious risk taking or a dedicated pouch. 5
