Q: 1. Is it possible to view live output of all connected cameras on pc with lower specs? I tried IVMS, but with more then 4 cameras it is a heavy load on CPU.

A: No it is not. Live view of video requires a lot of bandwith.

A: The Hikvision AB110 Angled Base for Select Dome Cameras is specifically an angled mount for select Hikvision cameras. We have not tested the performance of this mount when used for light fixtures.

A: The Hikvision DS-7608NI-Q2/8P 8-Channel 4K UHD NVR (No HDD) BH #HI7608NIQ28P should work with your current IP cameras. You will havew to add each camera and set them up.

Q: 4. Will this NVR support PoE+ (802.3at)?

A: According to this data sheet under POE Interface it says "Standard: IEEE 802.3 af/at" with a total POE budget of 80W.

A: We are not aware that the Hikvision DS-7608NI-Q2/8P 8-Channel 4K UHD NVR with 2TB HDD BH #HI608NIQ28P2 emits an unacceptable level of fan noise.

Q: 7. Is it possible to access the connected IP cameras directly from other network devices over the LAN port?

A: Yes, with a web browser you would access the system and go to Configuration Network Advanced Settings Other, click the check box for Enable Virtual Host, click save. Then you would go to the IP camera management interface and you will see a connect column on the right-most side of the camera list.

Q: 8. Can the NVR be mounted on wall?

A: This NVR canot be wall mounted.

Q: 9. Does this come with rack ears?

A: Rack ears should be included in the box

Q: 10. Will this support non-hikvision cameras?

A: Yes as long as the cameras are ONVIF compliant. If you do go that route make sure you set up the camera first with a computer and then add it manually to the NVR.
