A: I am sorry but two separate systems will be required to record two CIONs RAW output. A single laptop cannot handle the signal processing and disk write requirements of such a set up.

Excellent product! Have been using Thunderbolt version for years. Now with USB-C the speed is way better and I love the auto-power-off function, which turns off the fans and puts the unit to complete sleep (no need for separate power strip to control ON/OFF). Also feels cooler, even though still a hot brick, esp. in 4K mode. Although I use it 100% for editing, this is also a must-have product for any stable and high-end studio production as well as post. This is an amazing piece of kit for use with Vmix. I got the Video Switcher Set of keys as well, so you can create your own custom vision mixer panel. No complaints :) 5

All connections need on one plate. Plate is made from thick plastic, I think it will hold up over time. Will buy again if needed elsewhere 5

Works with a Laptop approved by Vmix and we've had no issues with it. The only I'd change is it won't output 1080 59.94P, only 1080 29.97 P. Hopefully this will be changed soon. 5

I needed to add a separate streaming Roon end point for headphone use via a DAC. I looked at what was available to stream with a noise free and good time output to a DAC. iFi ticked all the boxes at a very low price point when compared to other options. The Zen has SPDIF and USB for the digital DAC outputs. I used the USB. Both Outputs have tech to insure that noise/timing issues has been limited to a minimum which is very important ( Rubbish in means rubbish out). Ethernet used since this ensures no dropouts or throughput issues. You will have to set the system mode selector (Roon for me) so again one should know what you are using or plan to. It was straight forward to set up by going to ifi websight (internet search if in doubt). Performance wise this sends a very good digital stream to my DAC. No issues with timing or noise. The imaging and musical enjoyment match my Roon driven /SSD NAS / Meridian MS600 endpoint. So full thumbs up for very little money. 5
