Create a handle that best suits your Sony VENICE series camera rig using this 3" Wooden Camera Universal Ultra Handle Kit 3" Extensionfrom Wooden Camera Universal Ultra Handle Kit 3" Extensionthanks to its modular design. A 3/8"-16 screw on one end of the extension can attach it to separately available connectors or other extension pieces. Multiple anti-twist 3/8"-16 and 1/4"-20 threads allow you to integrate articulating arms and on-camera monitors of your choice. A Bocote hardwood insert at the bottom of the extension offers an ergonomic handgrip. The pass-through design of the threads allows you to tighten the screw with an Allen key.

[0.165 lb] These are very well-built (as expected from Wooden Camera). They're a little heavy, but that goes with the build quality. I was initially worried that the grip would get slippery when sweaty or wet, but they are almost entirely slip-proof, except for if you have sunscreen or oil on your hands. They're a little long, but in general they're the perfect size. Wouldn't change much of anything about them. 5

[Bocote Hardwood] I just bought it and I've only used it for 3 shootings and I already love it. You immediately feel the difference between recording with your naked camera and with the cage on. The camera becomes more heavy and stable. You can shoot at low angles without any problem thanks to the top handle. It is very versatile. Everything can be reconfigured to use it on the opposite side, except the wooden handle, of course, because it is designed to fit the right hand, although you could get used to using it backwards and grabbing it with the left hand to take advantage of both the camera grip and the one from the cage (which is what I did). You can also make your own DIY wooden handle and replace it. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase. 5

[Bocote Hardwood] For the money I can't complain much. I don't find the top handle that useful so I think that could have been an add on and lowered the price even more. Same with the wooden handle, don't need it so would have liked the option to buy without it. The only alternative for cameras with a battery grip is the much more expensive Wooden Camera/Manfrotto tall cage, so I am still very happy with this cage and it's amazing value. 5
