Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this Zeiss Premium Harness work well with the Zeiss 10x54 RF Binos ?

A: Yes, its 100% compatible.

Q: 2. How does it attach to the camera?

A: The SPINN.DESIGN Adjustable Comfort Camera Strap (Black) has small loops that that can be feed through d-rings, or attached to other popular mounting solutions such as the Peak Design AL-4 Anchor Links (BH #PEAL4).

Q: 3. Where can I find instructions on connecting this harness to my binoculars?

A: Zeiss does not have instructions on the use of the strap. But it is pretty easy. They say, the binoculars are connected by feeding a strap through the brace eyelet And that part is in this photo bottom center, https://bit.ly/3lN45Gd

Q: 4. Is this strap waterproof?

A: While I haven't tried it in very wet conditions, I would say no, based on the material it is made of. The cushioning portion of the strap is a kind of spongy, slightly stretchy material that looks like it would absorb water, and over repeated soaking might tend to disintegrate.

Q: 5. Is a camera plate included with the strap or do I need to purchase both?

A: The SPINN.DESIGN Adjustable Comfort Camera Strap (Black) does not come with a plate. You can use a third party plate or this one, BH #SPCP02CAMPLT (https://bhpho.to/3RmtB7v).

Q: 6. Is the base plate compatible with the Peak Designs Capture Clip?

A: No, the Peak Design Anchor Mount included with the Peak Design Leash Camera Strap is not compatible for use with the mount on the Peak Design Capture Camera Clip v3. Peak Design states that the anchor mount is only designed to be used if you are not using Capture or a tripod; the anchor mount is not Arca-compatible.

Q: 7. Can this harness work will this harness work with other than Zeus’s bins?

A: Sure. No reason why not.

Q: 8. I like how the backing is not just neoprene and won't cause as much sweat. Will these work with the EL models?

A: Yes the Swarovski UCS Universal Comfort Strap for NL Pure Binoculars is compatible with the EL series too.

Q: 9. Will this strap fit a canon g5x mark II. Does it need any other hardware for where clips on?

A: The E-Z Comfort Strap is one that is recommended for your camera. It attaches with 3/8" webbing; as long as the connection points on the camera will accommodate the 3/8" webbing, you will not need anything else. If the connection points are smaller, you may want to attach small split rings to the camera.

Q: 10. What is the color of this Harness/Strap? Black or Brown?

A: Black on the Straps, and Brown where the Zeiss Logo is.

[Gray] It took me a while finding neck straps with extra length that I could carry my camera across my shoulder when needed. This strap has adjustable length, well padded and comfortable to wear. Prior to purchase of this strap, I am using the sling type. The sling type is comfortable also; however, I prefer utilizing the camera strap attachment eyelets to free up the bottom threaded hole intended for tripod attachment. This saves me time winding and unwinding both screws when tripod and/or monopad is frequently used. It also helps me minimize the risk of dropping my equipment during attachment and removal of screw.

[0.225 lb] A few days ago I bought the Spinn CP carrying system, the CP.02 and the black strap. I am a cameraman and after just one day on set, I can't imagine ever working without CP.02 again. I wear my Sony Alpha on my body all day and don't even notice it. As soon as I want to take a photo or shoot a short shot, I just pull the camera forward and shoot. When I don't need the camera, it's firmly on my back without dangling or bugging me and when i want to put the camera away, i can just wrap the strap around the lens and put the camera in the camera bag.... so simple. A wonderful idea to attach the strap to the bottom of the camera. This way the camera lies firmly on the body and the strap no longer hangs in front of your face - just great - thanks for this wonderful tool.

[Yes] This is the only neoprene camera strap with smart packaging that won't have marks on it from being folded. It may not be the prettiest or swivel but it works. It feels light on your neck. I put it on a Nikon D7500 with 17-55 lens and can wear it around my neck. I had neck surgery too so that's an accomplishment. I tried other brands and this is the best for this style. Coming from my beloved Domke its a breath of fresh air!

[0.225 lb] I waited for years to find a strap equivalent to my discontinued Luma Labs Cinch which is wide enough to distribute the weight of a DSLR or interchangeable lens mirrorless camera but can be rapidly shortened for secure across body behind-the-shoulder carrying or lengthened when using the camera. I tried the very nice Simplr F1 strap but it is too narrow for comfortably carrying a camera heavier than a point & shoot or m4/3 with a small lens.

The Spinn.Design is wide enough to distribute the load, can be greatly shortened until the sliders touch each other, is thin and not bulky in a camera bag, has no metal fittings that can scratch lenses, cameras, or LCD screens (I'm looking at you Peak Design Slide and Leash straps), and has the narrow, flat, tape attachment to the camera which keeps the wide strap from getting in the way when using the camera. Highly recommended if any of those features are important in your camera strap.

[0.225 lb] Well made, bigger than pic suggests, embroidered ZEISS instead of printed. VERY comfortable with lots of padding on shoulder portion, especially when carrying camera with a larger Zeiss lens like my 24-70/2.8 ZA on the Sony A7R-V.

[Gray] I use one of these Zeiss straps on a Nikon D850 and a Nikon Z 5. I often use heavy lenses like the Zeiss Milvus 85mm and the Zeiss ZF2 135mm, plus a 150mm f/4 Zeiss Sonnar (for Hasselblad). This strap makes it much easier to lug around one of these heavy rigs. The soft air-filled pockets of the strap do not cut into my neck and shoulder the way a conventional Nikon strap would when carrying such weight. I recommend this strap and the price is quite reasonable. The fact that it says "Zeiss" on it doesn't hurt either.
