The first layer of the 7-in-1 jacket can be worn alone on chilly fall or spring days. It is cut longer than most standard fleece jackets to help keep you covered and warm. The fleece fabric protects against light rain and moves moisture from the inside to the outside of the jacket. In heavier rain, you can zip this fleece layer into the outer jacket. You can attach both sleeves and the collar of this jacket to the outer jacket with eyelets and buttons.

This first layer jacket has eight pockets including five pockets in the mini photo bag. There are two large front pockets and one pocket in the left sleeve with an elastic strap and metal clip for a microfiber cleaning cloth. The mini photo bag in this layer is made from mesh.

The second layer of the 7-in-1 jacket is a padded, quilted jacket with a hood and a stylish checker design. This jacket can be worn by itself on chilly days without rain. It also zips into the outer jacket for an additional layer of warmth on cold and windy days. You can connect the hood and sleeves of this jacket to the outer jacket with buttons and eyelets. It is cut slightly longer than other padded jackets but doesn't show under the outer jacket.

This second layer jacket has eight pockets when you count the mini photo bag. There are two large front zippered pockets and one microfiber cloth pocket with an elastic strap and metal clip in the left sleeve. The mini photo bag has a waterproof film to protect your equipment in snow or rain.

The third layer of this jacket is lightweight, water and wind resistant with a rain column of 6000mm. It is made from tear-resistant 228T nylon-treated fabric. The interior mesh enhances the jacket's comfort and breathability while providing air circulation. The zippers under the arms provide extra ventilation if desired. Additionally, this outer jacket has a welded 2-way YKK zipper for extra water and wind protection. There are also elastic bands in the hood for a more secure fit and wrist wind stoppers to seal the jacket and prevent unnecessary heat loss. You can also tighten the sleeves with the hook-and-loop adjustment. The front side of the hood is cut longer to protect your camera and viewfinder in inclement conditions.
There are 11 different sized pockets throughout this jacket including the five pockets in the mini photo bag. There are two chest pockets designed to carry lens caps, two large pockets with hook-and-loop closures for filters up to 100x150mm or your Haukland 3-in-1 gloves, and an interior top left pocket for a slim wallet, your passport, or phone. There is also a left-sleeve pocket with an elastic strap and metal clip for your lens cleaning cloth.

Photographers have worn the Haukland 7-in-1 jacket from anywhere around 77 °F in the rainforests of Costa Rica to -4°F in Finland, as well as in winds over 100km/H.

  • Layer 1 has 5 pockets, made entirely of mesh for comfort.
  • Layer 2 has 5 pockets and a waterproof film so you can drop the jacket in the snow without exposing your electronic equipment.
  • Layer 3 has 5 pockets with labeled memory card & battery pockets, plus two additional large pockets for drone batteries, power banks, and other accessories. This area is reinforced with a waterproof film on the exterior side to provide extra protection for your electronic equipment. On the interior side, the pockets are made of mesh.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What length of strap is the model wearing in the photo? 37" or 44"?

A: He is wearing the 44 inch.

Q: 2. How are the straps after several hours of site seeing?

A: That would depend on your personal stamina as well as what you have packed away in the bag. The will be durable enough to withstand heavy usage.

Q: 3. Am I only able to fit 1 body and 2 lenses? I tend to need 2 bodies and 2 lenses.

A: This would be a tough fit for 2 bodies and 2 lenses, I would suggest a bigger bag for your needs.

Q: 4. Can you verify that this case does not fit a DSC-HX80? The case number for that camera is listed as LCJ-HWA and this case is a hybrid LCJ-HWA; LCJ-HWB. Thank you.

A: This case will fit Sony DSC-HX80

Q: 5. How do you attach the strap to the outer casing ?

A: As seen on the B&H website, the strap has a collar and a buckle (coming from the tip of the strap and up) on each strap. I slipped the end of the strap through the metal loop on the covering from the outside to inside then bring the end through the collar and now go into the buckle from underneath. That held pretty good for me. It helps to have some excess strap loose in the buckle from the initial pass through so when you bring the strap back through after going through the metal loop and collar, you have a little more wiggle room to get the strap back through the buckle. I had the end of the strap about 2 out of the buckle. Although the strap is great, I have since gotten a Peak Design leash to replace it cause sometimes I don't want the strap in the way. Hope this helps.

Q: 6. does this case work for the first generation sony rx100?

A: While almost similar in size, the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 Digital Camera is slightly larger in size compared to the Sony Cybershot DSC-HX90V and DSC-WX500 Digital Cameras for which the above Sony Jacket Case is designed to fit. While it may work, Sony does not list the interior dimensions of the Sony Jacket Case to confirm if the DSC-RX100 would indeed fit. I can state that, if you are looking for a case for the original Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-RX100 Digital Camera, the Sony Premium Jacket Case for Cyber-shot RX100, RX100 II, RX100 III, RX100 IV (Black), B&H # SOLCJRXFB, is the basic case designed by Sony to fit the DSC-RX100 Digital Camera.

Q: 7. Will this case fit the DSC-HX20V?

A: No.

Q: 8. Will this jacket fit on the Canon EOS M6 camera?

A: Unfortunately no, this is custom-fitted for the Canon EOS M5.

Q: 9. What are the dimensions?

A: Although Novoflex does not indicate specific dimensions, this tent can fit over the Novoflex Patron Umbrella which measures 44.9".

Q: 10. Would I use a small or large size for a Nikon F3?

A: You could use either Large or small as it would depend on personal; preference--Their is ample room on a Nikon F-3 Camera .

[4.125 lb] I've tried lots of stretch gloves and the problem is always that they fit too snug and cut off my circulation and my fingers freeze. These are just right...snug, but very elastic

[Nylon] I bought these liners to supplement a pair of Vallerret Tinden gloves (ordered the same size and they fit inside perfectly). Going for a half hour + walk in - 20C degree weather, the combination keep my fingers from freezing and are nice and comfortable. Like the gloves, they are top quality - no surprises or disappointment.

[22 x 20 x 4"] I got these liners for when the weather here in Upstate New York gets below 25 degrees and my Vallerret Markhof Pro 2.0 gloves will no longer keep my fingers warm. The glove/liner combination does the trick down to temperatures where I no longer want to be out anyway.
