The first layer of the 7-in-1 jacket can be worn alone on chilly fall or spring days. It is cut longer than most standard fleece jackets to help keep you covered and warm. The fleece fabric protects against light rain and moves moisture from the inside to the outside of the jacket. In heavier rain, you can zip this fleece layer into the outer jacket. You can attach both sleeves and the collar of this jacket to the outer jacket with eyelets and buttons.

This first layer jacket has eight pockets including five pockets in the mini photo bag. There are two large front pockets and one pocket in the left sleeve with an elastic strap and metal clip for a microfiber cleaning cloth. The mini photo bag in this layer is made from mesh.

The second layer of the 7-in-1 jacket is a padded, quilted jacket with a hood and a stylish checker design. This jacket can be worn by itself on chilly days without rain. It also zips into the outer jacket for an additional layer of warmth on cold and windy days. You can connect the hood and sleeves of this jacket to the outer jacket with buttons and eyelets. It is cut slightly longer than other padded jackets but doesn't show under the outer jacket.

This second layer jacket has eight pockets when you count the mini photo bag. There are two large front zippered pockets and one microfiber cloth pocket with an elastic strap and metal clip in the left sleeve. The mini photo bag has a waterproof film to protect your equipment in snow or rain.

The third layer of this jacket is lightweight, water and wind resistant with a rain column of 6000mm. It is made from tear-resistant 228T nylon-treated fabric. The interior mesh enhances the jacket's comfort and breathability while providing air circulation. The zippers under the arms provide extra ventilation if desired. Additionally, this outer jacket has a welded 2-way YKK zipper for extra water and wind protection. There are also elastic bands in the hood for a more secure fit and wrist wind stoppers to seal the jacket and prevent unnecessary heat loss. You can also tighten the sleeves with the hook-and-loop adjustment. The front side of the hood is cut longer to protect your camera and viewfinder in inclement conditions.
There are 11 different sized pockets throughout this jacket including the five pockets in the mini photo bag. There are two chest pockets designed to carry lens caps, two large pockets with hook-and-loop closures for filters up to 100x150mm or your Haukland 3-in-1 gloves, and an interior top left pocket for a slim wallet, your passport, or phone. There is also a left-sleeve pocket with an elastic strap and metal clip for your lens cleaning cloth.

Photographers have worn the Haukland 7-in-1 jacket from anywhere around 77 °F in the rainforests of Costa Rica to -4°F in Finland, as well as in winds over 100km/H.

  • Layer 1 has 5 pockets, made entirely of mesh for comfort.
  • Layer 2 has 5 pockets and a waterproof film so you can drop the jacket in the snow without exposing your electronic equipment.
  • Layer 3 has 5 pockets with labeled memory card & battery pockets, plus two additional large pockets for drone batteries, power banks, and other accessories. This area is reinforced with a waterproof film on the exterior side to provide extra protection for your electronic equipment. On the interior side, the pockets are made of mesh.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this jacket fit on the Canon EOS M6 camera?

A: Unfortunately no, this is custom-fitted for the Canon EOS M5.

Q: 2. Does the magnetic system damage the laptop screen in the long term?

A: The Max Huggins Slipdrive (Small, Black) uses 3M adhesive (not magnets), so it shouldn't damage your laptop screen.

Q: 3. Will this fit a Samsung T9?

A: The Samsung T9 will fit inside the Max Huggins Slipdrive (Small, Black).

Q: 4. Does it fit the camera with the hood attached?

A: Yes it fits with room to spare. You can even have filters in place too. I have a gariz bottom on the trigger and the thumb grip too and again they all fit just fine (gariz button makes it touch too tall but still I got mine to fit).

Q: 5. Does it fit the size of Canon 5D Mark 4?

A: No it does not fit 5d.This is for the Canon m5 mirrorless camera. It fits the m5 very well

Q: 6. Will this fit a Samsung T7?

Q: 7. I miss being able to go to the store...would this pouch fit a Sirui K-40X Ball Head?

A: Yes, that head will just fit into this pouch.

Q: 8. Will this fit in the Billingham Leica M combination Bag?

A: no this will not fit in that bag.

Q: 9. Do you have to fully detach the cover to use the camera or does it just hang down when open?

A: It just hangs down when open. No need to detach.

Q: 10. How do you attach the strap to the outer casing ?

A: As seen on the B&H website, the strap has a collar and a buckle (coming from the tip of the strap and up) on each strap. I slipped the end of the strap through the metal loop on the covering from the outside to inside then bring the end through the collar and now go into the buckle from underneath. That held pretty good for me. It helps to have some excess strap loose in the buckle from the initial pass through so when you bring the strap back through after going through the metal loop and collar, you have a little more wiggle room to get the strap back through the buckle. I had the end of the strap about 2 out of the buckle. Although the strap is great, I have since gotten a Peak Design leash to replace it cause sometimes I don't want the strap in the way. Hope this helps.

[Men's S] A year ago, I was shooting outside. using tablet, and trying to hold a camera is always a difficult balancing act. Vallerret Urbex makes this much so much easier. Urbex gloves allows you to expose your fingers to adjust buttons while shooting, actively use your tablet when they are not. Vallerret makes high quality gloves that are both soft and warm and with maximum comfort.

[Men's S] I have warm hands. Nevertheless, I still prefer to wear a glove when temps are below 30F (-1c) as handling cold metal and carbon camera gear for a long time irritates my mild joint pain in my hands. I have been wearing a pair of shooting gloves in warmer temps, switching over to a pair of ski mittens with a finger tip flap for colder. Of course, neither were great for the in between temps, or when there was wind or rain/snow. Plus neither pair had a conductive pad for device use.
Enter the Urbex! I used them all last week shooting at Chincoteague National Wildlife Refuge, in temps from 20F to 40F with winds and rain a few mornings and never once did I feel I needed more glove in the cold or get too hot as the temps crept up. The merino liners were soft and woolly but did not make my fingers feel like they were in sausage skins. The leather shell was flexible and grippy yet didn't feel flimsy. And the capacitive pads rocked. I was able navigate menus on my DSLR with ease.
My only complaint would be the fit. I usually wear a XX-Large in gloves, but this model doesn't come in that size. Other Vallerret gloves do. (Or maybe B and H just doesn't stock the XXL) The knuckles are a bit tight when I flex my fingers into a fist, but in general use it is not too restrictive. I still would prefer the XXL.
Great gloves are hard to find. Especially when you are looking for the 'middle' ground or the 'Goldilocks' point. For me, these are right on point.

[Nylon] It holds 6-7 cards plus 4-5 notes. Easy to access any card you need while keeping the overall thickness very low. Like the design.

[Nylon] These gloves are just what I needed - something that is fairly warm but not too bulky and lets me free my fingers when I need fine control of the camera or need to use the touch screen. And the rest of the time they look like nice leather gloves that happen to be very comfortable.

[Men's S] Hello,
I just receive this product and it's a good product but I choose a too large size. Is it possible to change to the M size?
And if it's possible, can you tell me the deadline to receive the new one after I send you the product?

Thank you for your return.

[Nylon] I was searching for a small padded bag to carry my Canon EOS R6 MK II with a Canon f2.8, 70-200 mm lens attached. I took measurements and found out this bag will handle the camera and lens with room to spare. Of course you have to screw the hood in it's storage mode but that's not a big deal. I can insert and remove the camera easily. It's well padded and has a zippered top with an attached hood that covers the zipper with water resistant nylon. I sprayed the zipper with silicone for ease of zipping it open and close. Weather proofing also. It has a nice shoulder strap, carry handle and a couple of belt loops sewn on to the back side of bag for added protection. You're not taking this bag from me.
If needed you can fold flatten bag and stow in a larger backpack when not in use. I'm very happy I found and purchased this bag. I highly recommend this bag. The only thing I didn't like was the long wait for the bag to arrive. It was cheaper on B&H but they don't stock it. I found the company's website site later and their price was higher, but the did have it in stock. So you have a choice.
