$705.60 $910.22

The TV One 1T-CT-642 HDMI Receiver forms the HDMI over single CAT5e/CAT6 system when coupled with the 1T-CT-641 Transmitter (sold separately). It supports the HDMI v1.4 protocol and the HDBaseT-Lite technology to allow transmission of uncompressed, 1080p full HD television signals over a single CAT5e or CAT6 cable (sold separately).

The receiver supports HDMI v1.4 signals including 3D and 4k UHD formats and the system allows DVI signal transmission with appropriate DVI to HDMI cable adapters. In addition, the embedded LPCM 7.1CH, Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Digital Plus, and DTS-HD Master Audio capability is standard.

The 1T-CT-642 Receiver along with the 1T-CT-641 Transmitter can achieve signal distribution distances of up to 197’ (60m) for uncompressed HDMI signals without signal degradation. A screw-on power adapter cable prevents inadvertent disconnection of power.

Q: 1. Will this item work as a receiver from a Godox TT685iiS flash and mount a Sony HVL- Have a Godox TT685iiS flash that I would like to use as a master flash and mount on camera. Have the camera setup as a master, flash turned off, and the G Godox Flash set at ch 02 Group A. Would like to use the WT-1T as the receiver and set it as the receiver to slave, Ch 02, Group A and install the Sony HVL-F60M flash on top of the Metz WT-1T as my second flash. Will this work as my second flash? The camera I am using is a Sony RX10M4

A: No. The following two systems have to different protocol systems so they will not communicate properly together.

Q: 2. Is this using HDbaseT or simply conductor to conductor?

A: This unit is conductor to conductor.

Q: 3. Which Sony camera shoe is this compatible with old A's or newer MIS as on A7. If the latter, can I then use a HVL 42AM (old style) on top of the transceiver?

A: The Metz WT-1T Wireless Transceiver for Sony, B&H # MEMZWT1TS, listed above uses the Sony Multi-Interface hot shoe both on the bottom and top hot shoe. If you wish to use the WT-1T on an older Sony Alpha camera that uses the (now discontinued) Minolta Auto-Lock hot shoe design, you may purchase the Sony Auto-Lock Shoe Adapter, B&H # SOADPAMA, to connect the Metz WT-1T to your camera. If you wish to connect an older Auto-Lock hot shoe flash such as the Sony HVL-F42AM Digital Camera Flash to either the WT-1T or the WT-1R, you would need to purchase the Sony Multi Interface Shoe Adapter, B&H # SOADPMAA, for your usage needs.

Q: 4. Do I need a receiver for this transceiver to work with the metz 52 af-1 flash?

A: Yes you do.

Q: 5. Is there a phanthom power supply for the mic input and how do you set the Mic level?

A: The model THS 1T does not feature phantom power. Please refer to the Whirlwind website at a href= http://www.whirlwindusa.com. target= _blank www.whirlwindusa.com./a There are several different THS models.Under THS Series products look for the feature chart that indicates which boxes featurephantom power. Thanks.

Q: 6. Can the WT-1T be used as a Receiver?

A: Yes. The following unit is a combination Transmitter and Receiver.

Q: 7. Has anybody used this device to feed HDMI over 200ft Cat5/6 to Black Magic switcher input?

A: This device when used with the transmitter has been tested to send an HDMI signal up to 230' using Cat 5e/6 cable connecting to any device that accepts a standard HDMI signal.

Q: 8. Will this work with a vga signal?

A: This model is made for HDMI specifically.

Q: 9. Can these provide either second curtain or high speed sync for Canon Mark III with multiple Paul C Buff Einstein 640 strobes?

A: Unfortunately, this transceiver will only provide high speed sync capability with Canon or Canon compatible Metz flashes from the Canon 5D Mark III.

Q: 10. Can you use a Metz (Nikon) receiver WT-1R with a Metz (Sony) WT-1T trigger?

A: No, you cannot. According to Metz, they state that it is not recommended to mix different WT-1 radio trigger systems (e.g. WT-1T Nikon and WT-1R Sony). Such a mixed system will not work correctly.

[FCC, CE, RoHS] I will be using multiple ST12MHDLAN units to distribute video for a large gymnastics meet.
The ST12MHDLAN units will have 2 roles:

role 1. Distribute video based scoreboard streams from 3 scoring computers ( running ProScore v5 ) to 3 projector based "scoreboards" ( in this mode each TX-RX pair operates independently 1-to-1 )

role 2. At the start of each session , distribute a video based presentation to all 3 projectors.
(in this mode 1 TX unit streams ( multi-cast ) to 3 RX units 1-to-3 )

Switching between the 2 roles is done via a simple StarTech Chrome app. (a few mouse clicks)

Combined with NetGear S350 smart-switches ( which have VLAN and IGMP support), the ST12MHDLAN will allow me to
distribute both video data and score input data over a single LAN ( single set of cables). In previous years I had a scoring "data" LAN and a separate analog ( VGA extender based) video distribution setup. The new solution will greatly reduce the amount of cabling and the amount of work needed to tape down cabling.

I have performed extensive testing .... solution works great in my "test lab" ... and is ready for "production".
( The meet is in January ... I will try to remember to update this review after the meet )

[1.065 lb] I purchased this TX / RX pair to provide a video based demo for a new gigabit networked product I am developing. Connected up to an optical gigabit network through media converters, ran HDMI video out from smartphone and display the video at a remote location possible 30 miles away. This product did the job for me with no problems... worth the investment.

[1.065 lb] We operate a church broadcast system and needed to transmit the audio and video across a 1600' RF link. The radios show variable download bandwidth between 30 and 80 Mbps. We have experienced excellent reception with no video or audio drops or freezing.

[1.065 lb] We needed this for a church set up. We are running a video camera and to get the HDMI signal back to the booth we tried these out. Our church also uses a rec/tran pair to get HDMI up to our projector. Kramer makes good sturdy products this is no exception. This is the Receiver you do need to purchase the Transmitter PT-571 to make a pair. Both come with a power supply you only need to power one end. This did work just fine with a pre-made 100 foot cat5 cable. If I was going longer distance I would make sure to use cat6 cable. Good Luck... Rob

[FCC, CE, RoHS] This is a ( very late ) update to last year's review.

In Jan 2022 , I used multiple ST12MHDLAN units to distribute (scoreboard and presentation ) video for a large gymnastics meet ( in a large convention center )

The ST12MHDLAN units worked perfectly at the event just like they did in my test "lab".

see previous review for more details

Note: I recommend using HDMI cables that have "slim" connector bodies. HDMI Cables with "fat" connector bodies will not seat perfectly ( and can be knocked loose easily ) due to the placement of a screw on the chassis of the ST12MHDLAN.
