The first layer of the 7-in-1 jacket can be worn alone on chilly fall or spring days. It is cut longer than most standard fleece jackets to help keep you covered and warm. The fleece fabric protects against light rain and moves moisture from the inside to the outside of the jacket. In heavier rain, you can zip this fleece layer into the outer jacket. You can attach both sleeves and the collar of this jacket to the outer jacket with eyelets and buttons.

This first layer jacket has eight pockets including five pockets in the mini photo bag. There are two large front pockets and one pocket in the left sleeve with an elastic strap and metal clip for a microfiber cleaning cloth. The mini photo bag in this layer is made from mesh.

The second layer of the 7-in-1 jacket is a padded, quilted jacket with a hood and a stylish checker design. This jacket can be worn by itself on chilly days without rain. It also zips into the outer jacket for an additional layer of warmth on cold and windy days. You can connect the hood and sleeves of this jacket to the outer jacket with buttons and eyelets. It is cut slightly longer than other padded jackets but doesn't show under the outer jacket.

This second layer jacket has eight pockets when you count the mini photo bag. There are two large front zippered pockets and one microfiber cloth pocket with an elastic strap and metal clip in the left sleeve. The mini photo bag has a waterproof film to protect your equipment in snow or rain.

The third layer of this jacket is lightweight, water and wind resistant with a rain column of 6000mm. It is made from tear-resistant 228T nylon-treated fabric. The interior mesh enhances the jacket's comfort and breathability while providing air circulation. The zippers under the arms provide extra ventilation if desired. Additionally, this outer jacket has a welded 2-way YKK zipper for extra water and wind protection. There are also elastic bands in the hood for a more secure fit and wrist wind stoppers to seal the jacket and prevent unnecessary heat loss. You can also tighten the sleeves with the hook-and-loop adjustment. The front side of the hood is cut longer to protect your camera and viewfinder in inclement conditions.
There are 11 different sized pockets throughout this jacket including the five pockets in the mini photo bag. There are two chest pockets designed to carry lens caps, two large pockets with hook-and-loop closures for filters up to 100x150mm or your Haukland 3-in-1 gloves, and an interior top left pocket for a slim wallet, your passport, or phone. There is also a left-sleeve pocket with an elastic strap and metal clip for your lens cleaning cloth.

Photographers have worn the Haukland 7-in-1 jacket from anywhere around 77 °F in the rainforests of Costa Rica to -4°F in Finland, as well as in winds over 100km/H.

  • Layer 1 has 5 pockets, made entirely of mesh for comfort.
  • Layer 2 has 5 pockets and a waterproof film so you can drop the jacket in the snow without exposing your electronic equipment.
  • Layer 3 has 5 pockets with labeled memory card & battery pockets, plus two additional large pockets for drone batteries, power banks, and other accessories. This area is reinforced with a waterproof film on the exterior side to provide extra protection for your electronic equipment. On the interior side, the pockets are made of mesh.

Q: 4. I don't understand the FPP instructions on loading the sheet film holder; the emulsion is doublesided; is there a preferred way?

A: According to the manufacturer, the Film Photography Project Black and White Negative X-Ray Film (4 x 5", 25 Sheets) is notched like traditional 4x5 film. That being said, as it has double-sided emulsion, you should be able to load the film in any direction. As the film is blue-light sensitive, if you so choose, you may visually load and unload the film in a darkroom under a red safe-light such as the Delta 1 Brightlab Universal Red Junior Safelight 11 Watt, B&H # DESLJ. https://bhpho.to/3Issmhv

[Nylon] Where do I begin? I have been looking for Photography gloves for YEARS and tried to look among various platforms that could possibly house them. Thankfully, B&H doesn't disappoint and had what I was looking for. I chose a size bigger than what I originally guessed I would need and they fit 'like a glove' haha. My grip has most definitely improved, the velcro is easy to strap on, and since I suffer from the occasional sweaty palms, I never have to worry about my camera body being soaked during my sessions. One thing I would warn buyers would be that if you DO have sweaty hands while you focus/work for an extended period of time, there may be some fabric residue that lightly stains/rubs off on your hands. It is VERY easy to wash off, but just wanted to share for transparency. I highly recommend these gloves and will definitely buy again when it comes time for replacements. Thank you B&H for bringing valuable gear to photographers everywhere :)

[Nylon] First, I live in NW Florida so I seldom need gloves, and when I do, liners are all I need. That said, I just returned from visiting the Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, and while it didn't get very cold there (mid 30's) I did get a chance to wear them on a couple of occasions. The first thing I noticed were these seemed thicker than most liners and they were definitely warmer than most liners I have used in the past. They fit very well except the fingers were just a tiny bit long. The extra length is not unusual (I guess I have short fingers), and these were a far better fit than most liners I have used. I waited too long before putting these on the first time I used them and my fingers were already cold. This usually means my fingers never warm up, so I was very surprised when, after about 30-45 minutes, my fingers did warm back up and became more flexible again. I don't believe that has ever happened before so I was VERY surprised and HAPPY about that. Before these, I have used Smartwool liners (warm but the fingers are way too long), Patagonia liners (VERY thin, great fit, finger length was perfect, but they provided NO warmth to speak of), and a pair made from Thermax (I forget the brand). These Vallerret were, by far, the best liners I've ever worn. I understand they are wind proof also, but there was no wind blowing when I used them so I cannot comment on that. Also, I didn't have cell phone coverage where I was so I didn't see if the conductive finger/thumb worked or not, but they did keep my hands warm and I was very happy about that.

[Nylon] I've tried lots of stretch gloves and the problem is always that they fit too snug and cut off my circulation and my fingers freeze. These are just right...snug, but very elastic

[3.705 lb] I was searching for a small padded bag to carry my Canon EOS R6 MK II with a Canon f2.8, 70-200 mm lens attached. I took measurements and found out this bag will handle the camera and lens with room to spare. Of course you have to screw the hood in it's storage mode but that's not a big deal. I can insert and remove the camera easily. It's well padded and has a zippered top with an attached hood that covers the zipper with water resistant nylon. I sprayed the zipper with silicone for ease of zipping it open and close. Weather proofing also. It has a nice shoulder strap, carry handle and a couple of belt loops sewn on to the back side of bag for added protection. You're not taking this bag from me.
If needed you can fold flatten bag and stow in a larger backpack when not in use. I'm very happy I found and purchased this bag. I highly recommend this bag. The only thing I didn't like was the long wait for the bag to arrive. It was cheaper on B&H but they don't stock it. I found the company's website site later and their price was higher, but the did have it in stock. So you have a choice.

[Nylon] Stretch Pro Liner Gloves are well-made and are perfect as liners for the heavier Vallerret gloves. The thumbs and index fingers have conductive fabric on the tips that allow use with touch screens.

[Nylon] The only thing that would make me like these more is if they were Merino wool instead of Polartec, that being said they are warm and slide easily in and out of my Vallerret Markhoff gloves, and my Kombi gloves. A great products

[3.705 lb] Got a great backpack that doesn't open up on it's own just because of a fully packed bag.
