A: Yes, the Profoto Clic Fresnel works with the built-in reflector on the A2. The Clic Fresnel from Profoto adds 1.7 stops to the A2 and 1.2 stops to the A10 (wide zoom). When used with the A2, the Clic Fresnel tightens the light spread to a beam angle of 34°.

Q: 5. How do the throw distance and shape of light fall-off of this Clic Fresnel compare to the Clic Reflector?

A: The Profoto Clic Fresnel produces a 34° Beam Angle for the Profoto A2 and adds 1.7/1.2 stops output. The Profoto Clic Magnum Reflector produces a 37° Beam Angle and adds 1.8 stops of light. Both are not projectors so you can not create shapes like those. You can change the beam by using a grid on the Magnum Reflector.

Q: 6. Will this work with the MagMod MagBox Pro Speed Ring Adapter (Profoto)?

A: Unfortunately, Profoto Clic Barndoor is not compatible with the MagMod MagBox Pro Speed Ring Adapter (Profoto).

A: No, the Profoto Clic Fresnel is not compatible with the Profoto B2.

[0.145 lb] I bought this to use with my Profoto B10, A1, and A10 flashes. I've used the original Magnum reflector as well as the OCF Magnum in the past and have loved the boost this hard reflector gives for extra punch and to match the outdoor lighting vibe in bright sunlight. Now, I've got this little gem, along with the companion grid; and I couldn't be happier. I'm retired now for the past year but work on personal projects for long-time clients when I feel the challenge. The attached image comes from my recent use of the A10 and new Magnum in hard sunlight. The image is adjusted slightly in Camera Raw to bring up shadow detail slightly and to bring down the speculars a bit, but not to an extreme. More punch than I expected and I have to say that I'm totally please. I can now carry the light, a couple of batteries, my Clic Box and a small light stand along with my Nikon Z7ii, and various lenses without stressing my body as much. 71 isn't easy on me, but this addition really makes me smile. As usual, B&H fills my orders and delivers in great time. 5

[0.145 lb] I've only used these boys a few times, but they do as advertised. A narrowing of the light. But the magnetic way they snap together, and on my ProFoto lights is great. 5
