This 19mm Rod Holder from Vocas enables the attachment of a 19mm rod to the Vocas Universal Sliding Top Handle. The aluminum and stainless steel unit attaches to any standard 3/8"-16 threaded hole and features a 1/4"-20 thread for additional mounting.

A: We do not see this set-up as workable or advisable.

A: The Top handgrip will attach directly to the camera. The cheese plate is not necessary to make this work.

A: The thumbscrew for the Tilta Quick Release Handgrip Bridge is not available separately. Tilta may be able to provide a replacement if you contact them directly.

A: Yes, 3 filter trays are included with Cavision MB4169H-3M. Two 4x4" and one 4x5.65" metal filter trays.

Q: 6. Will this fit (i.e., clear the overhead handle/built-in mic section) the Panasonic AG-UX180 camera?

A: We feel that the low overhanging mic on that camera could be a potential issue, but there should be enough room if you insert the rotating filter tray from the bottom instead of the top. A: No tools are needed with the Vocas Body Rosette Adapter for Sony FX6. Place it on the handle first and you then engage the body.

[Black] I liked this 19-15 adaptor. Im steadicam operator and all my brackets are Jerry Hill. sometimes is difficult fit the motor on the lens and when I saw this, I realiza you can change the measure of the rods. I used twice since I bought and it works. 5

[Aluminum, Steel] I had to exchange the first one I received due to a manufacturing default, the replacement is excellent. Really excellent quality, feels comparable to the Arri matte boxes I've used extensively in the past, but at a fraction of the price. Note that it does come with both nuns knickers and fixed doughnut rings for a variety of lens sizes. My only complaint would be that it's slightly heavier than expected (given the carbon fibre), but no more so that other professional solutions. 5

[Black] I also have a smaller good matte box from Genus, but I love this carbon fiber mattebox from Lanparte. It can be used with a wide range of lenses from CP PL to DSLR lenses with a lot of diameter adaptors (donuts) included as well as a nun's jacket. All articulations are precisely engineered. Can be adjusted quickly in length and height to fit many configurations. I use it with a Black Magic Cinema Camera, a Nikon D800 and a GH4 with either a Sigma 18-35 or a Sony professional B4 zoom. Not a cheap one, but stands the quality of Chrossziel with a more reasonable tag. All knobs are positionned at the right place and the filter trays are very solid and handy. 5

[Aluminum, Steel] I used to use 15mm carbon fiber and aluminum rods. After you've tried steel or titanium rods, you'll never go back. They're more expensive and probably overkill for the majority of prosumer videographers with small mirrorless cameras, but if you're using a fully decked out Arri or RED cinema camera for film or TV projects, I recommend steel or titanium, and Tilta has a good track record with quality camera accessories. 5
