[ATX] I bought the Fractal POP Air solid side panels case because it seems to be one of the few cases with a non-glass side panel remaining. I’ve previously owned the Fractal R4 case and love the quality of Fractal puts into their cases they are really solidly built and always have a beautiful minimalist style to them with the POP Air being no exception.

My Fractal POP Air came with a side that wouldn’t remove itself, but that was no issue as B&H had a very easy and fast exchange process and I was able to receive a replacement within 5 days. The replacement arrived without issue and big props to B&H for the great exchange service.

On to the case itself the positive for me were the design, the space, and ample storage drive options available. With the POP Air I was able to easily fit a Xfx 319 Merc 7800 xt without issue and that gpu is huge. For the storage drives there are so many options to arrange multiple ssds & hdds depending on your needs. Cable management is mostly easy in the case. The area where I had issues was with trying to route some cables on the bottom of my motherboard through the side grommets where they couldn’t bend and fit correctly. Instead I had to route through the bottom grommets.

The biggest cons for me are that the usb-c front panel is a separate adapter that has to be purchased. Fractal really just needs to include that by default in this day and age. The other knock I have against it is that the grommets for cable wiring I would prefer they were rubber lined it would make cable routing a bit easier. But that’s really it on faults I have so far.

Overall tremendous value for such a functional and beautiful case from Fractal would definitely recommend to anybody and same goes for B&H buying and exchange experience both top notch.

[Bottom, Top] This case easily took an X570 motherboard.
This case comes with 3 120mm 3 pin fans, but they daisy chain. That is rad. The basement of the case is spacious and you can pull the 3.5 bay out and mount in the top of the case! The cable routing is magnificent. The chassis is sturdy and strong. The tempered glass is nice and all case screws are captured. This is a great case

[Bottom] The size is great, no clear window, and no USB 3.0 header

[Bottom, Top] Great case, arrived in 2 days, no damage.
The magnetic mesh is nice, the case has a lot of room for a tall air cooler and large graphics card, came with 3 case fans. Tempered glass pane also high quality and its mounting is sturdy.

[7x Full Height] This case is the best case to get if you're shopping for a mid-tower but you want 5.25 drive bays, full stop. Or, alternately, if you're doing a budget build with components from two or more generations ago and you're not super worried about heat generation. Otherwise, a mid-tower that's more airflow-optimized and has room for more fans/larger radiators like the Corsair 4000D could be a better choice.
Because the fans are on the front of the case, it has a massive amount of room for a graphics card, but might struggle to pull in the air to cool a flagship. I've bought a full set of Noctua case fans and a 7900 XT for my final build (not pictured as it hasn't yet arrived, used older card for POST troubleshooting) so I might update with how the final build performs under load once it's arrived.
The case was easy to build in, even for a first-time builder (with experienced supervision) like me. The velcro was a fantastic touch for cable management - I'm actually thinking about buying more somewhere and replacing some of the bread ties. The power button has a satisfying clean click, and isn't mushy. The matte black surface of my variant looks functional and clean and most importantly, is more likely to survive being hauled back and forth between apartments than tempered glass.
Overall, for $80 plus $10 for the USB-C attachment, a great price for a mid-tower with 5.25 bays and massive graphics card clearance.

[Yes] It’s big, it definitely won’t be too hot for the video card. You can install large fans and not worry about noise. Through the glass side panel, everything inside is visible.

[7x Full Height] This case exceeded my expectations. This is my fifth Fractal Design and one of the best. The Define R4 and Define R6 are great cases but they are heavy cases and a pain to move around. This case is about 10-12 pounds lighter and very substantial. Case management was fairly easy for me, even though I have 8 drives.

[20.74 lb] I like my builds to be professional and clean looking - not into the see-through panels and RGB nonsense. This case is an absolute steal for the money. It looks so sharp, has amazing airflow, and it comes with 3 fans! The fans are quiet and good enough that I don't plan on replacing them unless they become noisy later on.

This is one of the ONLY good options if you need a 5.25 external drive (or two). This is one of the main reasons I found and purchased it.

The build quality is good, not stellar. I've had other higher-end Fractal cases that were made from much heavier-gauge metal, but at the price, you can't ask for more. It's still plenty solid, looks great, feels great, and its easy to build in. Zero regrets and would totally buy again if I needed another case!
