A: It may depending on the size of your lens & camera set up. You may also need a gimbal cover, something also made by the LensCoat company that covers the gimbal head by itself, then the RainCoat Standard of larger model, pending what size you need for you particular set up, would mount onto your camera & lens! The bottom has an opening that would allow you to mount onto the gimbal but the thing that I am concerned with is the side mounting of the lens onto the Sidekick! This unit is made so that the mount is on the bottom & the other openings for you hand to slide into so you can reach the controls of the camera body. You may want to ask someone at B&H Photo for there expertise of these items are & they may suggest an alternative model that would better suit your needs! ... Hope this helps with your decision! I love my model but I have never used a sidekick with it so this model might not work as needed! ... A: I would say yes. I use a pan and tilt head not a gimbal and the rain coat works fine. The way it attaches leaves the lens foot and plate exposed.

A: Because of the way TheLensCoat TravelHood Zoom is built, it will fit on zoom lenses from approx 67mm up to approx 150mm diameter. When using this hood on all lenses, and especially smaller zoom lenses, it can cause vignetting at the wider angles of the zoom.

A: This raincoat is just too large. After purchase of this one I would not purchase another. I chose to use two large (quart) zip lock freezer bags. They were much tighter fitting, drier to use and you had full visibility of your camera and lens. The so called raincoat is a good idea but they need to go back to the drawing board.

A: This product comes with an extra sleeve, that fits on to the 500mm or 600mm or 800mm lens hoods. If you do not use that, then the rest of the rain cover fits 300mm very well, but will be a bit big for the 200mm lenses. Lenscoat has a smaller version of the same rain cover, which fits the 200 and 300mm lenses perfectly. Im very happy with this product for my canon 600mm lens. Worth every penny. :)
