This ALZO 2G11 UV Resistant PBT Lamp Holderfrom ALZO 2G11 UV Resistant PBT Lamp Holderis designed for use with UV germicidal sanitizing CFL light bulbs and other bulbs with 2G11 bases. The socket shell is constructed from durable PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) and incorporates a UV-stabilizing compound for extended life. In addition, the violet coloring reduces UV light absorption.

A: Yes you can. The camera is mounted on a Ball head so all you need to do is loosen the knob, arrange the camera how you like (horizontally, vertically, or anything in between), and then tighten the knob to lock it in place.

A: Yes

Q: 3. Is the grip component removable? So like if I wanted to shoot handheld/monopod style could I release it without taking all the shoulder parts off?

A: The height adjustable camera "Boom" part of the ALZO Bod-A-Boom hands free camera support is not removable. The ball head camera mount on the top of the "Boom" includes a camera quick release plate to allow for fast release and re connect of the camera. This allows for quick change to hand held camera work.

A: Yes you can as this system supports cameras up to 10 pounds.

A: Sorry, never tried removing the ball head. And I don't use this harness anymore. But I would say it is possible to unscrew it.

Q: 7. Can you attach a Bowens S mount bracket?

A: No.

Q: 8. Can this charge an Aputure B7C?

A: Yes, this Raya Lamp Holder can charge the Aputure B7C. However, you could leave the B7C in AC power mode for constant output.

Q: 9. Will this be safe to use with a 150Watt Equivalent 20W led bulb?

A: I use a 60w LED equivalent to 250w and have had no issues.

Q: 10. How long is the power cord?

A: The cable length is an estimated 7.5' (2.3 m)

With advent of LED lighting source that does not require a lot of electricity and heavy duty stand, these are great for providing plenty of light efficiently and inexpensively. The manufacturer specifically states that the are not to be used with incandescent light source. The parts seems to be made from decent quality plastic and will probably hold up OK in the long run as long as you don't use it in a mobile setting. 5

This thing is great when you need to quickly throw a light on something. I just pop it on the end of a boom mic stand, and it's ready for anything. All the parts feel high quality, and it holds my large umbrella with ease. 5

Purchased two of these end of September 2020 and they both came with rubber coated clamps so they don't scratch your tubes. Works great with Astera Titans and the ball lock is solid. 5
