Additional compartments store chargers, adapters, and tripod plates for all three cameras. The foam insert and stored gear are further protected by an HPRC Vector Panel made of durable PVC.

The case is made from TTX0, a patented material composed of a polypropylene-based compound containing mineral fillers and elastomer. The use of this compound maintains the case strength while increasing the elasticity, and ensures resistance to impact, drops, and pressure. It has undergone extensive testing and received various safety certifications, including an IP67 weather resistance rating, UL-94 V-0 fire resistance classification, DS 81-41 impact standard, and ATA 300 air travel certification. Ergonomic top and side handles provide easy and comfortable transport.

[15.46 lb] Purchased as a “set it and forget it” webcam.  I wanted very high quality, yet portability. I agree with other reviews the button navigation is a bit challenging but that is due it small size. It was smaller than expected and discreetly lives on my desk. If you see my photo here it, it is not distracting from 4' away behind my monitor..  If I ever use it for event recording, I won’t mind bringing my small FeelWorld monitor.  I spent an hour comparing models and am happy with this as a sole webcam plugged into a Blackmagic capture device.  Should I relocate this to the ceiling the SDI output will come in handy. I was more confident in this camera's image than less expensive models by others with PTZ abilities, so I am very happy with this choice.

[Hard Case] I bought this camera for a specific purpose outside its core function - not for a secondary studio camera but as a lightweight solution to a gimbal rig. I wanted a 4K cinema camera (though it is limited to UHD only) that would work well on a DJI Ronin gimbal. The rest of the Blackmagic camera line, even the pocket models, were too heavy for these prosumer level of gimbals, especially once outfitted with a cinema-weight lens. The Micro Studio Camera, fitted with a stills lens and connected to a SmallHD monitor and a T7 SSD via its USB port, is a well balanced and practical solution. A few caveats: the lens needs to have manual shutter/f-stop control as the camera can only otherwise be controlled via an ATEM console (ditto for ISO and focusing); rack focus is not practical except perhaps via a wireless focus puller added to the rig (but even then monitoring is problematic); the crop factor is severe, so something like a Metabones focal reducer would be useful. But it works well for what I wanted to have and I now have a separate, complete rig for gimbal work I don't have to build and break down constantly.

[15.46 lb] We bought these cameras for our church, and they are the perfect middle ground for being simple enough for volunteers to run, but having all the features of a higher end broadcast camera.
Having the built-in screen and tally lights is also huge for us. Makes it a simple all-in-one rig.

[15.46 lb] Quick to fold and unfold. Wish the velcro strap was magnetic.
When folded, easy to store in a thin slot inside a bag.

[15.46 lb] Convenient and compact camera, convenient to place in hard-to-reach places. Of the studio functions, the camera supports RCP and Tali. Works great with Ursa Broadcast G2 cameras, the image is almost the same
