This ALZO 2G11 UV Resistant PBT Socket Lamp Holder 250-Packfrom Alzo is designed for use with UV germicidal sanitizing CFL light bulbs, and other bulbs with 2G11 bases. The socket shell is constructed from durable PBT (Polybutylene Terephthalate) and incorporates a UV stabilizing compound for extended life. In addition, the violet coloring reduces UV light absorption.

The included spring metal clip supports the other end of the bulb being used in the socket. It is ideal for use in UV light fixtures as it will never degrade from exposure to UV light.

This convenient kit contains 250 sockets with included lamp spring clips.

A: The EYB bulb is used in many different fixtures. Each fixture will be a little different to install a bulb. The basics are, do not touch the bulb with it on, and do not touch it with bear skin on or off. The oils from the skin can blow out a quartz bulb.

This thing is great when you need to quickly throw a light on something. I just pop it on the end of a boom mic stand, and it's ready for anything. All the parts feel high quality, and it holds my large umbrella with ease. 5

With advent of LED lighting source that does not require a lot of electricity and heavy duty stand, these are great for providing plenty of light efficiently and inexpensively. The manufacturer specifically states that the are not to be used with incandescent light source. The parts seems to be made from decent quality plastic and will probably hold up OK in the long run as long as you don't use it in a mobile setting. 5

These do the job that they were designed to do. They have a warning on them not to use lights that get hot. I will be using them with AC studio slave strobes 5

Does what it's supposed to do. In the old days, it would have been made out of much sturdier materials and built to last a lifetime, but for this price, it's just fine. (Make sure and read the wattage limits before you shop for bulbs.) 5

Use with Phottix Premio Reflective Umbrella White Diffuser umbrella or Phottix 40 Reflect Softbox Studio Umbrella with LED Corn bulb for super bright, one light modifier. Forget Flourescent use LED Corn bulb. Very economical set up for lots of light. Built in on/off switch too. 5
