The Gra-Vue MIO AV-AVIEWER Composite Audio/Video to DVI/HDMI Video Scaling Converter features a video and audio quality assurance watch dog function that provides real-time video/audio probing and alarm. The mini scaling converter supports automatic video input format detection and supports composite video in both PAL and NTSC format.

The MIO AV-AVIEWER also provides overlay for marker, waveform analyzer, AFD, dynamic UMD, Tally, and an 8-channel audio VU meter. It has an option for selecting stereo audio output. The built-in Web server allows you to easily remote control the unit via a Web browser. The unit fully supports SNMP protocols for remote monitoring.

This video scaling converter can be a key component in video/audio monitoring and display systems. Q: 10. can this convert incoming H265 to H264 signal output?

A: The AVMATRIX SC2030 3G-SDI/HDMI Scaling Cross Converter can support an H.265 signal in and an H.264 signal out, though this would be a codec conversion that's dependent on the software being used. This converter would only do resolution and framerate conversion.

[12 VDC, 1 A] Not only was this a great price but it was pretty much plug and play. We own a Decimator which has been rock solid for us but we really didn't want to invest $300 on a scaler/converter and didn't need 4K capability since we use it to stream at 1080. Also, we found that the setup of the Decimator was a bit complicated to work through the menu. So we took a flyer on this unit and so far so good! 5

[1.45 lb] We are using this to convert from HDMI to both SDI and HDMI outputs. The dip switch settings are much easier to use than the similar Blackmagic model. 5

[1.45 lb] At the Bristol Village retirement community in southern Ohio, we have an auditorium with a group of volunteers providing A/V services. We currently use AVMATRIX SC2030 converters to feed a Blackmagic ATEM TV Studio HD. Trying to control the wiring mess was a challenge. In order to organize wiring, we created a mounting board. The AVMATRIX has included 'ears' that make this possible. 5

[PAL, NTSC] The DIP switches and reference chart make this unit a breeze to use at a competitive price point when compared to similar scaling converters manufactured by competitors. Although every unit at varying price points have their advantages, if you're in the need for a device with these capabilities, give it a shot--it may save you some money and perform great! It also includes helpful mounting hardware for anyone installing this in a rack. 5

[1.45 lb] We use this to convert a presentation podium DisplayPort output to SDI. The SDI signal is routed to a video switcher. Love the high resolution, really an improvement to have all SDI, rather than good old composite video. Had to download the AJA mini-config software to set up the way we wanted, but that went well. 5
