The Gra-Vue Mini HD (3G)/SD-SDI to DVI Video Scaling Converter features real-time video/audio quality assurance watch dog function. It supports a variety of video input resolutions, including 525i, 625i, 720p, 1080i, and 1080p with automatic video input format detection. The watch dog function provides real-time video/audio survey and alarm.

The scaling converter also provides an aspect ratio marker, waveform analyzer, AFD, dynamic UMD, Tally, and an 8-channel audio VU meter. The built-in Web server allows easy remote control of the unit via a Web browser, and it fully supports the SNMP protocols for remote monitoring.

The MIO Viewer is used for setting up video/audio monitoring and display systems. It is suitable for many broadcasting and professional A/V monitoring applications such as control rooms, mobile trucks, production, post-production, and playout.

A: I would be a millionaire if I had a dollar for every foot of film I ran through Arriflex SR cameras. So while I have not tested this set up, the specs sound right. The Arri's video tap, possibly a Transvideo product, outputs a Composite signal through a BNC connection. Connect the tap to the converter and it should work just fine in making a digital signal.

A: The MIO MVS-4HDMI will not accept or detect a 1024 x 768 signal. It will only work with the listed inputs.

Q: 7. I have a medical device that outputs 640x480 at 61Hz (read from the Dell monitor info menue) from the DVI port. Monitors don't seem to have a LCD problem but another converter I tried did not see the signal. will this one work?

[11 x 6.7 x 3.2"] Had to send HD-sdi to some older displays in our balcony that are fed from 5-bnc. Had to cycle through the resolutions to find the best one, but it works great, and we were able to take out an old scaler that was messing with the image!! 5

[1.45 lb] If you have the occasion to need to convert SDI or SDI-HD to VGA then buy this unit. It does what it's suppose to do and it does it extraordinarily well. This is pure video excellence. I realize this is now more of an odd piece but when the need arises choose a DAC-60. 5

[11.5 oz (326 g)] How nice it is when you plug a device in and it works - right out of the box. This converter is being used in our TV studio to convert HD-SDI to use in our new HDMI-only smart TV. Brilliant sound and picture with no additional latency noticeable. The converter runs cool and after a week has had no glitches. 5
