With a form factor capable of slipping into your jeans or jacket pocket, the Kelvin Play RGBACL LED Pocket Light Kit (3-Light)features a six-color light engine with an 18-LED panel ideal for content creators who want a wide array of creative light control. The Play is best suited for on-camera applications thanks to its dual 1/4"-20 mounting threads and magnetic back panel mount for attachment virtually anywhere. Its upgraded design allows for 35% more light output.

Its wide color temperature range of 1700 to 20,000K and four built-in modes can be controlled via Bluetooth 5.0 and the Kelvin Narrator app or using the onboard dial controls and 1.3" LCD screen. Various color accuracy ratings from a CRI of 98 to a CQS of 97 ensure accurate color reproduction. A built-in 2500 mAh battery keeps the light running for up to two hours at maximum brightness. Recharging the light is a breeze thanks to the USB-C port and included cable.

Built-in Bluetooth 5.0 allows you to control the Play panel from up to 328' away using the Kelvin Narrator App. The app is compatible with both iOS and Android devices. Select between preset gel and creative effects and create your own lighting effects.

Use the two integrated dial controls with the 1.3" TFT LCD on the back panel of the Play light for onboard control. Toggle between the CCT, HSI, and RGB modes and adjust dimming and color temperature.

A: No, if the Kelvin Play RGBACL Full Spectrum LED Creative Pocket Light's internal battery is dead the USB-C input would not be able to directly power the light. The battery would need to have/be able to hold a minim level of charge in order to power the light.

[Bluetooth 5.0] I got the Boling pocket LED light with the Six-in-One accessory kit. It's a flexible mini portable lighting system that meets the majority of my lighting needs. The Boling light is well made and the battery seems to last forever. I love the 0% to 100% dimming, its RGB and color temperature/effects. 5

[10 W ] Glad I got the two pack. I use these a far amount. Good battery life and the flexible mount makes it easy to place in awkward spots. It is also slim and light for camera mount use. Tack tile switches allows me to turn on and set by touch. One issue was when I bought it the rotatable mount arm was too tight to move. I adjusted it and it stayed at that tension. 5

[RGB] I now have two of these lights (each with the useful six-in-one kit) and find them surprisingly good for run and gun, and also in the studio (as long as it's a fairly intimate setting). I.e. you can light one person at a time well, say, with one light on each side of their face, up to 2-5' away. i've also used them for fairly close up shots doing nature photography. The ability to match intensity as well as color (warm to cool) is great. I received these at the same time as my iPhone 13 Pro Max that shoots ProRes, and I can literally put these items in jacket pockets, to carry around out in the field. Back in the studio the results look quite good. i also have larger lights and a BMD 6k camera with Zeiss glass. With care and common sense, I can intercut images from both rigs. Amazing. 5

[LCD] This little powerhouse blows my mind - shot midday inside. Phone takes like 5 seconds to correct the exposure. Site won't allow video upload. Solid construction. Recommended by the gaffer on upcoming shoot. Can't wait to try out on set. 5

[10 W ] This has much better colors and brightness than the Aputure MCs. I use both frequently, and whenever I use this I'm always impressed by the quality of the light. My only feedback is to expand on the customization options within the app, but the light itself is excellent. 5

[RGB] This light is phenomenal. I am seriously considering buying another one, to be honest. It ticks all the boxes for mobile, small studio, run and gun lighting, but also a great fill for location shooting. I would happily use two of these as a key and fill, and obviously the additional FX may come in handy to content creators and indie film makers. It might seem a bit pricey, but once you get to grips with what it can do, I would suggest it is under priced, in my opinion. As usual, excellent quick service from BH to Dubai!! Excellent. 5
