[f/12.6] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you’re looking to take a trip down memory lane while capturing the most memorable photos it’s a must to have the INSTAX SQUARE SQ40 Instant Camera! I was so impressed with the simplicity of use and how easy it was to capture awesome photos that pop right out as soon as you take the picture! The ease of use is phenomenal; just twist it to turn and off and twist for selfie mode! This camera has allowed me to take more instant photos that I can enjoy right at my fingertips! No more waiting in line to pick up prints, no longer scrolling through my phone to submit prints to the local photofinishing establishment. It’s as simple as point, click and pic within a matter of seconds.

Same with this one. It even has a little mirror on the front for selfies. Putting the film in was easy, just open the back and insert. I only wish it came in a bigger box. Unfortunately you only get 10 pictures per film.

[Automatic] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am so happy with this instant camera! First of all, the quality is great! It is made with the highest quality materials! It is also VERY durable and heavy duty! It feels very sturdy and it actually has some weight to it! The size is also awesome! It is pretty big which I really like! This camera comes with the camera, batteries and a strap. It is very easy to set it up. You just put the batteries in and the film in, and you are ready to go!

I really like the shape of this camera! It is square and just looks so modern and nice! There are also a couple of modes you can use. “ON” is for shots at a distance. “Selfie” is for selfie close ups. And of course “OFF” turns it off. Switching between modes is very easy too. You just twist the lens and voila! Then, you just push the gray button to take a picture. The pictures all turn out nice too and develop fast! I absolutely love this instant camera and I highly recommend it!

[Zone Focus] Fantastic color, great focus, and the images are crystal clear (for instant). The only drawback is the lack of any form of adjustment. The camera is literally point and shoot (with a minor macro mode). Just know bad light will be a big problem. But it has really inspired me and helped pull me out of a rut. I shoot professionally and this is a cure for repetitive stress :)
Some tricks I tried right away that helped with limits.
- this will fire my off camera flashes via it's flash going off which has been kind of fun. ok - that works on all my camera with flashes - but it really helps with the limits of this unit. I light background, the flash lights people, the images are fantastic.
- if you don't need a flash - it may still go off. I keep black tape with me. works pretty well.
If Fuji made a version with the features of my Instax Mini 90 I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Even without the great customizability I love this thing.

[Yes] [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our friends had a funky formal wedding in the Forrest and the instax square camera was a total hit. The capabilities are insane! From selfies to amazing zoom and focus quality this little guy packs a punch. The film is incredibly easy to load and we bought multiple packs for endless memories.

It’s definitely instant gratification, if you want to capture a picture in the moment and hold it in your hands. It’s like the difference between reading an E-book and holding a real book in your hands. It really is a blast from the past. The camera has two settings: on and selfie. I used the camera indoors and I definitely recommend good lightning. The pictures have the look and feel of an old Polaroid. It’s quick. Indoor lightning is tricky. I recommend using the selfie mode for closeups in good lighting and placing the camera on a stable surface. Outdoors in better, more ambient light I feel gives a better result. When I moved the pictures were overexposed some. The lens rotates and you can adjust it. You have to look through the lens to take pictures and in selfie mode there is a mirror on the front that you can use to see yourself. Overall, super fun, kids love it, and is fun to throw in your scrapbook. I give it a five out of five because it reminds me of my childhood and was a lot of fun to use.
