Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. HI, is there a way to attatch this to a 67mm lens? Like the Sigma 35mm? Thanks!

A: You can use the General Brand 67mm-62mm Step-Down Ring (Lens to Filter) to attach the SLR Magic Anamorphot-50 to a Sigma 35mm lens and it's 67mm filter threads.

Q: 2. Would I need diopters if I buy the rangefinger?

A: You do not need diopters if you get the Rangefinder.

Q: 3. Where do I locate the male insert that goes with the QD socket in the Leofoto SF-02?

A: Leofoto does not have the QD socket insert available as a standalone item for the Leofoto SF-02 Lens Foot with Clamp for Sony FE 200-600mm f/5.6-6.3 G OSS Lens. They do however have the Leofoto SP-01+DC-22Q QD Strap & Clamp Kit which can connect directly to this plate, BH #LESP01DC22Q (https://bhpho.to/3R6pmKE).

Q: 4. Is this rail useful for making macro/close-up videos? Will the footage be smooth? Thank you

A: Yes the Leofoto MP-180S Macro Focusing Rail with Rotating Arca-Type QR System (7.1") is useful for macro video and photos. The smoothness of the footage would depend on many different factors.

Q: 5. I'm buying a FS7mkII, will this adapter work for a super35 sensor or will I have to get a 2x stretch?

A: I'm currently using it on the FS7 and FS5 which have the same sensor and the coverage is perfect. It's an excellent effect for the price.

Q: 6. Will this fit the new 180-600 lens?

A: The Leofoto NF-02 Collar Foot for Select Nikon Lenses is not compatible with the Nikon NIKKOR Z 180-600mm f/5.6-6.3 VR Lens.

Q: 7. I use Canon 5D MARk IV, buying SLR Magic Anamorphot-50 1.33x with Rangefinder, which lens should i need to buy for screwing it on them?I mean which lens is best tips with SLR Magic Anamorphot-50 1.33x with Rangefinder?

A: The Canon EF 50mm f/1.4 USM Lens should work well. It has a 58mm filter thread and is not that large of a lens.https://bhpho.to/2aTfcfk

Q: 8. Has the Leica Geovid 8 x 56 3200.COM image stabilization feature?

A: The Leica 8x56 Geovid 3200.COM Rangefinder Binocular BH #LE8X56G3200 • MFR #40808 has a laser rangefinder. It dose not have Image Stabilization (IS).

Q: 9. I have GH4 and Panasonic F1.7 25mm, which accepts 46mm filters. Is it possible to use my own step-up ring to use SLR Magic Anamorphot-50 1.33x?

A: Dear Evgeniy,You need a 2x stretch when you use 4:3 sensors. 1,33 is meant for 16:9 sensors. Youll probably see some vignetting when youre using a 25mm lens on a gh4. You can only use lenses which have a smaller front thread than the connection of the SLR Magic, so it should work!

Q: 10. So most of my non-kit lens have a 77 thread or higher. Does this still work on those? or am I looking at vignette city? I have a 1.6x crop camera btw.

A: The key to using this product is that the lens has an outer diameter no greater than 50mm. Lenses that have a 77mm filter thread will more than likely have a larger outer diameter than that and will not work. The proper lens will depend on the camera you are using, which will then determine the mount needed and focal length you need to stay within. [Arca-Type] If you are going to actually use these binocular rangefinders for hunting rather than just for general purpose range finding, you need to set up the Leica Hunting app to create ballistic tables and upload them to your binoculars. There is no documentation with either the binoculars or the app on how to do that. However, there is a file of instructions in MS format entitled “Leica BlueTooth rangefinder programming cheat sheet.” It’s not documented anywhere in official Leica publications but the Leica warranty and repair center technicians have access to it and will send you a copy by email if you ask for it. It tells you specifically step by step how to use the app to create and upload the necessary ballistic tables to your binoculars.

[Aluminum] Not a lot to say here, but it works as advertised. It's mildly confusing to install if you've never done it before, but nothing too complicated.

[1.985 lb] I was hunting with a guide and he spotted a nice deer. I was able to find it with my binoculars with his direction. With one button push, I ranged it at 955 yards. He asked me to range a large rock that we could work our way to. I ranged it at 520 yards. Since we knew that over 400 yards was too far, we planned another route that put us 80 yards from the deer. At that range, the guide's rangefinder would work.

I have a manual for these binoculars but I haven't opened it yet. I put in the battery and pushed the button to get it to range. It may do more, but that is all I need. Super simple to use.

[Yes] Synology rails for Synology RackStation.

These are rack-rails for a 4-post rack.
They have toolless mounting for square holes.
They clip onto the pegs on the side of the Synology Rackstation, and are held in place with two screws on each side.
They slide out, with ease.
They slide in once the release button is pressed.

They do exactly what you expect them to do.

[1.985 lb] Great pair of Bino's. A little heavy but very functional.
Will be taking them to Alaska to video the whales. Like the fact that it uses rechargeable batteries.

[1.985 lb] There's not much really to say about sliding rail sets. But these work really well, and were pretty easy to install.
