[Body] This Stereo 70S is so nice to look at, as are all the new Cinema styled Marantz pieces. It is in my kitchen, and as can be seen, is paired with Definitive Technology D7 bookshelf speakers (amazing gems.) Suffice to say this is a wonderful piece of audio/video jewelry, it is so gorgeous looking, and the sound is clean, very musical, and I would say accurate to the source. My wife uses this system and she loves it! HEOS connects with it perfectly, and I am so happy she is enjoying great sounding music! The fact that you can have 2 pair of speakers with this unit, either playing separately or together, is a really nice feature that I know will be used eventually. The new remotes are so nice and solid feeling as well, and the knobs on the front turn with the heft and feel of products costing much more. If you are looking for an easy to use/set up amplifier with excellent streaming capabilities, this should be at the top of your list.Thank you Marantz!

[Alnico] This is a nice unit, no compatibility issues with devices. Unlike some HDMI switches and extractors, the unit works well with the up to date AppleTV4K. In my 18x14 room, It drives a couple bookshelf B+W speakers nicely and loud if desired. I use a powered HSU sub and a Yamaha center array connected to the pre-amp ports. Marantz/Denon removed a few convenience features from these new models. Random play and repeat are no longer USB options. The automatic configuration is quicker than my older system and works well for movie content, but I prefer unprocessed stereo for music. It does a great job with that. The unit has four programable speaker settings, and programmed my harmony remote to select the setting appropriate for the content. The manual is pretty good but lacking detail in some areas, like the music queue algorithm. Apparently not well documented in their tech data as I've been waiting two weeks for answers to a couple questions. Note that currently Marantz's service turn around is about 8 weeks.

[Alnico] Works great. NO CABLES! How cool. Use it with my Roland Micro Cube, and other amps. No problems. So liberating! No lag issues at all.

[4] Purchased to replaced the NR1200 with no regrets. Great quality and look nice compared to the outdated rounded front of older Marantz units. New remote and OS is also a plus.
Good power, drives SVS Pinnacles with out any issues

[Body] Excellent sound reproduction. At 75 watts per channel it works great with my JBL speakers.
Sounds great at low levels. I recommend this unit for it’s traditional function as a wonderful stereo receiver.

[Alnico] The new Marantz Cinema 70S is a triumph of design and function. If you have a small media / TV room, it might be all you need if you just run a 2.1 setup (front left, front right and powered subwoofer). Pair it with premium bookshelf speakers and you have a system that can handle music and movies wonderfully. The A-B amplification is warm and detailed, suitable for music. It has 3 4K HDMI inputs and 3 8K HDMI inputs, for some extra future-proofing. And it is luxurious box. Marantz has fully embraced being a luxury brand, and this product shows it. It's a solid unit. Could last one 20 years. It's seriously good.
