[Black] Only way the DJI RS3 communicates with my Nikon Z6ii is by USB so I really can only start and stop recording with RS3. Obviously needed to have this capability with hands remaining on gimbal. Works great!

[3x LI-42B] This is a great tool to use focus on my Zhiyun Crane 2 gimbal. I ordered two more because the original one I've had for years started to struggle to connect with the microUSB port. I could have been more gentle with the microUSB connection and also it got plenty of use! If you do purchase this, I recommend updating the servo follow focus firmware on it, for AB point compatibility, and using the original Zhiyun USB cable when doing that update. (The cable that comes with the Crane 2). For some reason these older Zhiyun products don't like off brand cables. I'm not sure what's different about the Zhiyun cables but they work.

[Black] Where do I start I love this thing. I used to use the DJI follow focus that came with my RSC-2 pro combo gimbal. The motor barely had the strength to focus my photography lenses it might have worked on cinema lenses I wouldn't know. The small rig follow focus though not only is fast to focus on the same lenses but it can also do zoom. I have the sigma 24-70dg gn art for my A7IV and it is not an internal focus lens and takes some effort to do by hand but the magic fiz follow focus can easily handle that as well. I notice some people faulting the build quality but if feels solid to me. I love the Bluetooth connection to my camera for start and stop recording I only had to set it up once and now when I turn them both on it happens automatically. The ability to manually set your focus points was crucial for me because I don't have cinema lenses with hard stops. I can still use any lens and the calibration is a bit of a pain but at least it works - it didn't with my dji follow focus.

[1.46 lb] So I was hesitant to pick this up because I was considering the nucleus nano (great price) as well as the DJI LIDAR for the Ronin-3 pro (which I don't have, but read it could be used separately.) 

Here's why I went with the PDMOVIE Live Air 3 Smart Lidar. 

Price and included accessories. While the batteries and charger seem/feel a little cheap, they work just as intended and for long. 

Has Lidar. When researching, the nano nucleus II didn't have Lidar, which I wasn't opposed to, but the DJI Lidar obviously did have it which was a plus. The caveat is that the DJI lidar requires the transmitter and some breakout box that adds another $1200 to the cost of the already expensive lidar ($700 or so.) I was not about to drop $2k for lidar only and no focus wheel. 

With the PDMOVIE I could rely on the focus wheel or the Lidar. And at a shoot, both worked really well. It worked with my bright tangerine misfit atom matte box WITHOUT the shade/visor (only the Matte box itself, not the rubber piece) but I did have to make sure the lidar was facing in-between the clamp and the tightening wheel of the matte box. It worked really well on my 16-28mm VISTA lens and Komodo-X. The tokina Vista 25mm was a little more difficult because of the field of view but it worked. If I had slightly smaller lenses, this wouldn't be a problem at ALL.

For talking head shots, there was no issue at all. For tracking shots in the dark, I could say the same, but I had to frame just off center to the left so that the lidar could SEE. But then I could use the focus wheel which switches off auto focus and lets you quickly control the lens without much, if any, lag.

Anyway, for $500, it's a good quick solution to have for those talking heads, or jobs where you're running and gunning. My ONLY gripe about it is the batteries and chargers were made from molded plastic and not rubber. At least they last long, though!

[Black] I bought the basic kit, it's quite useful due to the multiple power options and configurations at this price point. It's precise enough for my work, the motor is robust, the only area that could use improvement is the battery plate that slides on to the motor.

It's not perfect but I prefer this over some other budget wireless follow focus products I've used in the past.

[1.46 lb] Works as described and solidly so, do your own research and make sure your gear supports its use, that is your duty as a shopper.

[1.46 lb] Had the Tilta Nano before. Like this better overall. Less wiring to deal with as well. And the LiDAR focus works great and is a life saver if shooting without a 1st A/C. Have the basic kit (not the stronger motor model) and still had enough torque to rotate smoothly all my cine lenses. Kit comes with few extra batteries, which helps also.
