[-52 dB ] Great for any 4 monitor, but a little too small for anything bigger. They make bigger ones if you have bigger monitors. These look great and are at the perfect angle. A must for entry level producers and PC gamers with 3 or 4 monitors/speakers. 5

[2.0] I use the stands for the A2+ speakers. The stands absorb the vibration I'd otherwise get from the speakers sitting directly on my desk... they also allow the speakers to be better aimed. I wouldn't say they are must-buys, but they do help the speakers deliver excellent sound. 5

[100 Ohms ] The B&H webpage for the Audioengine A2 + speakers did not include this stand as an accessory. I did a separate search on the B&H online site for the speaker stand & came up with the DS-2 which I assumed was the appropriate stand for the ordered A2 + speakers (particularly due to the 2 inclusion in the model number. It was only once delivery of the speakers and stand did I suspect that they were oversized. A further search revealed that there is a smaller stand DS-1 which is the one I should have ordered. I returned them for an exchange & incurred a return shipping cost. The appropriately sized stands should clearly be listed as an accessory for these speakers. 5

[2.0] Okay, this is called "out of the box" thinking. If you think I got these for my vomputer speakers you would be wrong. i got them to sit under my Klipsch center chanel speaker. It is on a shelf above my 40 inch Hitachi L.D. since mid/high frequencies are very directional, I wanted to have the speaker tilting downward more. I had a piece of 2" x 6" wood unerneath it. I wasn't concerned it would slide off. However, when I saw these I thought they would be better. I put four rubber stick on feet underneath them so they don't slide. The lip oin the front keeps the center channel firmly in place. The weight of the speaker pushes down so it won't slide at all. 5
