The AVPro Edge MXNet 1G Evolution II Encoderfrom AVPro Edge MXNet 1G Evolution II Encoderreceives and encodes HDMI 2.0 video with the added feature of audio downmixing from Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD, and other high-end audio formats. Designed for use with multi-zone stereo distribution systems, the encoder extracts and outputs downmixed signals via its Euroblock connector. It supports resolutions up to DCI 4K60 4:4:4, along with control, power, and HDR metadata and requires an MXNet switch or a multicast capable L3 switch. This encoder supports HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision up to 30 Hz and can be used with Cat 6A cable or with SFP fiber for longer runs. It features a new AVPro Edge ASIC (application-specific integrated circuit) for enhanced video processing and support for audio formats like Dolby Atmos and DTS:X for IMAX Enhanced soundtracks.

The Evolution II Downmixing Encoder uses a proprietary audio decoder module to extract 2-channel balanced analog audio from high bitrate, multichannel audio codecs including Dolby Atmos and DTS:X IMAX Enhanced for integration with multi-zone stereo distribution systems.
Downmixed signals are extracted and output in analog stereo via the balanced Euroblock terminal on the encoder chassis.

[PoE 802.3af] Bought this to provide better video stream than my JVC GY LS300's RTSP feed (it has a big delay and sketchy feed). This is magnificent uncompressed quality. Already have a NewTek connect Spark, but this makes production a breeze. Been using it with a Church client's live stream and convinced them to go with Bird Dog products. They're not gonna regret it. 5

[Windows ] Using with the 4kQuad-4Channel and this works reliably in a 24/7 environment. 1080i59.94 and 1080p30 sources. I'm using with the internal SFP port and not the built in network. It's a little bit funky to get it to swap between the two, but once it's set, it says there. 5

[Windows ] Installed a pair of these to transmit to a projector up on the ceiling. POE made it all quick and painless. The unit at the projector is set to recieve from the other unit which can be plugged onto the network from any location around the stage, booth, or the rest of the facility for that matter. Easy for presenters to just plug on and present without fighting the technology. 5
