Designed for professionals, photographers, and hobbyists, this silver Nanuk 935 Wheeled Hard Case with Foam Insertfrom Nanuk has a 28.5L capacity to protect and store your delicate items including laptops, tablets, cameras and lenses, electronics, drones, sample kits, tools, handguns with spare magazines and hearing protection, medical equipment and first aid supplies, and equipment of all sorts. The case is made from lightweight, crush, dust, and waterproof NK-7 polypropylene resin. It has a foam insert for fast and easy customized protection for your specific gear, and includes a convoluted egg crate foam lid insert plus a solid base layer for the bottom. Carry the case with the oversized top handle or use the retractable handle to pull it behind you on its low-profile wheels. The handle has two stop positions to accommodate users of different sizes with handle heights from ground of 32" at the low setting and 38" at the high setting.

The PowerClaw latches use compressive force to keep the case securely closed until you open it. Integrated slide locks prevent the case from opening during transport or if dropped. For additional security, the case accepts user-supplied padlocks. A molded-in bezel system allows the use of optional inserts that can be installed quickly and easily without the need to modify your case. Its built-in pressure relief valve regulates the internal pressure, keeping your gear and the case from getting crushed during air travel and allowing you to open it without having to break a tough pressurized seal.

A: The foam in these cases would not attract moisture, mainly because the case itself is water-proof.

Q: 2. Would the Pelican 1519 lid organizer fit on the Nanuk 935 if you relocate the screw holes based on Nanuk's?

A: I do not believe so. We do not recommend this as that model is only dedicated to Pelican Cases. My apologies.

Q: 3. There is a foam for the bottom and top of the case. Is only 1 of the other two foam layers scored? If so, how do you buy a single scored layer to replace the bottom full foam layer to increase capacity in the case?

A: Both of the two middle layers will be pre scored for easy plucking. And to purchase just one layer individually, you would have to contact Nanuk for that.

Q: 4. Your pictures show black nylon covered dividers. The Nanuk store shows grey dividers with velcro straps. Which type come with this case?

A: The Nanuk 935 Wheeled Waterproof Hard Case does not regulate temperatures.

Q: 6. With the handle fully extended what is the overall hight from floor to the top of the handle? I have heard the handle is short.

A: Yes, a camera with grip will fit.

[Latch] I bothered to take the time to watch a couple YouTube videos before installing the foam. Understanding how the foam is constructed and pulled apart makes the process easier. Once you get the basic idea, the job is simple. Have your toothpicks ready. 5

[Silver] I Always had a lot of little extras sitting around tucked away in various places that I had to search for when getting ready for a photo shoot. I love that they gathered up into one place along with the things I use with both of my cameras. Very nice to have everything organized and within reach. (As soon as I remember where that last space is anyway.) Also like that when I want to set up my very small photo space all my extra lights and flashes are within easy reach - all I have to do is pull it out and find what I need. The lid organizer is a perfect place for light meter, filters and batteries, etc. 5

[Cubed Foam] Case is deeper than ones I've used before; so, still working on the best packaging strategies. Top has pocket that should be nice for keeping customs registration documents. Probably will buy the Nanuk TCA lock as it looks like it will fit better than the ones I have. Haven't flown it yet; but, looks promising. 5

[Silver] Ordered this case to go along with the same case with the divider and lid organizer for an astrophotography trip to South Texas. Between the two cases, my gear arrived safe and sound (both there and back). The pick-and-pluck foam is easy to use once you get the hang of it, and I shaped it to fit the exact shape of my equipment - mount, computer, filter wheel, and guide scope. I used the case with the divider for my telescope, astro camera, and cables. I could carry these cases on board my United flight and store them overhead fairly easily. The packed cases are a little heavy, but not too much for my almost age-70 body. My wife complained about wheeling the case through the airport as they are just a little narrow and are prone to tilt over occasionally. My only wish would be that these cases had 360 wheels instead of the older type pull behind wheels. 5

[Cubed Foam] We own a dozen Nanuk cases. Mostly their 935 and 938 styles, which are both wheeled and are super versatile. The dividers are great and lid organizers add so much more space. A great value when on sale and I can never resist picking up a few more. 5
