This proprietary algorithm optimizes the thermal images from the sensor in a three-stage process for a detailed and high-contrast image, even when a cold sky threatens to darken the view. You no longer need to aim low, and you can keep game in the center of the frame.

The newly designed scroll wheel allows both left- and right-handed users to select zoom levels or menu items quickly and precisely, even in stressful hunting situations or while wearing gloves. An extendable eyepiece allows comfortable use with or without eyeglasses.

The battery allows 6.5 hours of continuous observation and is easily replaceable. It can also be recharged using a standard power bank and thus ensures you never runs out of power. The standby mode is activated contactless—if the DTI 6 is put down or picked up, it switches itself off or on.

Personal settings can be saved in up to four observation profiles so you are equipped for any situation. Select your preferred zoom speed, adjust the duration of the stand-by timer, configure the LED, and create your own color palettes, the DTI 6 can be customized to suit your preferences and specific needs. Preset Fog, Universal, Discover, and Identify observation modes help tailor the view to the respective hunting situation.

The DTI 6 is fully integrated into the ZEISS Hunting app and can reliably connect to your smartphone. Data is transferred between the DTI 6 and the app via energy-efficient Bluetooth technology, but switches to Wi-Fi automatically when processing large amounts of data. The ZEISS Hunting app allows you to customize and configure the DTI 6 according to your individual needs and requirements.

Q: 1. Is this supposed to be seamless? I want to buy this but like the other reviewer mentioned, if it has a seam, I'd be sending it right back.

A: These 8x8 do have a seam.

Q: 2. Would a Magic Arm hold this, with a super clamp on the other end clamped on the vertical pole of a large light stand?

[20 mm, f/1.0] Easy set up. Worked right off the bat and saw birds in the trees, deer many yards away, and lots of mice in the field. Fun to use.

[<35 mK] Great unit to see heat signatures of all kind. I have used it in house and the woods. The other night in complete darkness my dog was going crazy by the fence. I used it and seen a rabbit tantalizing him.

[Monocular] Best money I have spent in years. As great as my Zeiss 10x42 binoculars. Unbelievable what all you can see with these. Spot a coon at 1,000 yards. Looks thru woods to spot game. A great piece of equipment and fabulous technology. B & H got them to me quickly.

[50 Hz] This is the real deal. No ifs and maybe about it. It gets the job done.
I already owned a AGM Rattler of the same size. It was hard to hold the rifle and scan at the same time and configure the yardage. I hang
the TM-35 on a lanyard around my neck, use it to spot with. Drop the TM-35 and pull the Rattler around with the shoulder sling.
It is a deadly combination. It works further than I can shoot offhand.

[Rechargeable] This is a fantastic thermal monocular. I can see bats flying at night and various aircraft with it. I never realized how many bats are flying around at night here in Portland, Oregon. You can even see small insects like moths and mosquitoes flying at night in the sky with it (I was never able to see any insects or bats with any of the lower resolution monoculars).

It's perfect for checking out what's going on in your neighborhood and observing any wild animals like raccoons and rodents.

The refresh rate is very fast (real time as though you are looking through binoculars). It feels very quick and responsive compared to the more basic units offered by AGM (button presses on the lower resolution devices would have a small delay which switching palettes etc.).

This device give you a superpower and is the best form of night vision available. I love it!

[Monocular] I was blown away by the image quality of this unit. I’ve used 320 and 640 handheld units before as well as the top of the lineup Seek phone camera. The processing on the T2 is phenominal. The relatively large front lens is a huge plus too. The image from this rivals the better 320 cores I’ve used. The resolution isn’t as good, but for distance viewing what’s more important is handling noise. The Seek cannot handle noise at all. It turns to a blurry mess shortly even though it’s higher resolution. Even some of the standalone 320 units don’t process noise out as well, making the final picture harder to see.

The T2 processing cuts out the noise while keeping detail. The plain white hot/black hot modes do great to show detail in settings like neighborhoods while the highlight contrast mode makes animals/people stick out from the background significantly. Very helpful when trying to see if the warm thing is something the sun heated a bit or something living.

The phone holder fit both the camera and phone snugly without cranking down on the adjustments. The handle makes viewing much more stable than without, though it’s not required. Still, the stability matched to the zoom of the lens makes the handle a huge plus.

If you’re interested in trying thermal or have a use where having your phone out isn’t a problem, the T2 is the perfect low cost, high value unit. Others may be better for circuit board work or other niches, but for general outdoor activities the T2 Pro is the best bargain going.
