The red Sirui Alien Crab Clamp with Magic Arm (Red)from Sirui Alien Crab Clamp with Magic Arm (Red)includes a crab clamp, a smartphone clamp, and an articulating magic arm. The smartphone clamp fits devices 2.3 to 3.7" wide and has an Arca-Swiss base that may be attached to a tripod, plus three 1/4"-20 threaded holes, which may be used to attach accessories such as a light or microphone. These 1/4"-20 threads may also be used to attach the smartphone clamp to the 1/4"-20 threaded screw on the crab clamp. In addition to the 1/4"-20 threaded screw, the crab clamp also has a two 3/8"-16 threaded holes for additional compatible accessories, a 360° rotating head, and a clamping range of 0.6 to 1.97", allowing it to be attached to various surfaces. For greater stability, the crab clamp and magic arm are connected to each other.

Q: 4. I have a Sirui N-2204X tripod and several Sirui heads. I am not clear as to how this arm attaches to the tripod. Can you explain or show me? Thanks.

A: The foremost picture in the set shows the item in its most compact form for travel. For mounting to the tripod, the foam grip/counterweight is unscrewed from the mounting base. The head should be removed from your tripod first before this is attached securely to your tripod legs on its mounting platform. A: Even though the load capacity says 11lbs, I wouldn't risk it. you are much better off with a Salon Stand (pricey) or C stand with a boom arm.

A: Unfortunately there is no direct option for this, though anything that could fit in the space could do the job.

A: Regarding the iFootage MA5-6 Spider Crab Magic Arm with QR Mounting (11"), yes, you can remove the cold shoe and no, there are no Arri locating pins.

Q: 10. Will iFootage offer spare end bits? It would be nice to have extra mounting bits pre-mounted to other gear and as backup if the mount gets lost.

[Red] Articulating arms wildly vary in price and I'm sure the more expensive ones are better built and to higher standards with better materials but for my needs this is perfect. I bought this as a just in case item. As in just in case I need it for something. It satisfies my needs and is more than worth it's price. 5

[0.665 lb] Very versatile and can be configured in so many different ways and positions. I use it to hold a YoloLiv streaming device while filming sports. I would normally position the Yolo on the camera hot shoe however, that position is taken with a wireless mic system. Very well constructed using quality materials. 5

[Aluminum Alloy] I really like using this clamp arm. I use it to secure a field monitor to my camera stand for church services. We rent so I needed something sturdy but quick and easy to manipulate. I don't think I was ever in a situation where it wasn't able to do what I wanted it to. The build quality is excellent, and the single knob that locks the whole arm in place very securely is so convenient. I would fully recommend this arm. 5

[Aluminum Alloy] I bought this as I was watching a Few YouTube Videos and wanted to swap out my Smallrig Mounts. They were a bit spendy for me as All I'd need them to do was support my Camera n Lens setup but found out after I bought them how Solid they were. VERY impressed with the Build quality as the smallrigs where no where NEAR the same quality not that I'm knocking Smallrig but this Mount is able to hold my FX30/with a Sigma 16mm w/o slouching or moving, the teeth on these are MUCH better for grip and keep the Camera in Place, I can't say that for my Smallrigs that I used to Have. Now I'm looking to get another one for my ZV-E10. Excellent Product and I'd HIGHLY recommend this Brand. 5
