A: You have your radio set to voice activate or VOX. To turn this setting off please complete the following: 1. Press/release the menu key (3) times.2. VOX will begin to blink in the upper left corner.3. A number between 1-9 will appear to the right of the channel.4. Press the UP or DOWN arrow until ( OF) appears.5. Press the PTT button twice.
