Bubblebee Windkiller SE for Klover MiK 09 Blackis a furry windshield that slips on a Klover MiK 09 parabolic microphone to effectively protect it against against wind noise, while remaining acoustically transparent—ideal for accurate outdoor recordings.

The Windkiller SE's outer layer features high-density, soft, multi-pile fur, which gradually slows the wind down before it reaches your mic. Inside, a super-soft, smooth, open material helps maintain acoustic transparency. When fitted correctly, The Windkiller SE holds a bubble of dead air around the front of the mic capsule, allowing the microphone to function as naturally as possible and keeping wind interference at a minimum.

The black elastic tab and press stud keeps The Windkiller SE firmly attached to your microphone. It seamlessly blends into the parabolic mic to remain discreet.

[Faux Fur] Still have yet to use it for outdoors, but I needed something to help with very persistent 'splosives when trying to record voice indoors at a medium-close range. This windscreen has basically removed that issue! I'm not sure, but it might cut the brightness of the recording by a little bit, but it's not really noticeable in my opinion, and easily mitigated with some tweaking on the hi-end EQ. 5

[Faux Fur] I live in a VERY windy area. It makes recording outside VERY difficult. I recently used this when I SHOULD NOT have been outside (Southern California high winds) and I just figured the clips were going to be useless because of the wind. But it really knocked out the wind noise (sure you can still hear it BUT you could hear me). So this coupled with a Deity V-Mic D3 worked VERY well! This was all attached to a GH5. 5

[1] I bought, and have tried a few windjammers for my D100. This is the best of the lot. Some others may come slightly close but they alter the EQ too much. This is brilliant, very effective and sound remains uncoloured. 5

[1] I primarily work as a documentary DP and frequently have to lav subjects on verite shoots. Even with creating a strain relief out of tape I would get cable noise from fidgety subjects and/or scratchy clothing. No more! Place the cable on your lav and it cuts almost all cable noise between the cable saver and the transmitter. Can’t believe how well this works or how long it took me to pick up a pack. Highly recommend. 5

[1] I have owned various windkillers from a wide range of companies over the years. These are by far the best. Construction is solid and materials are premium. The 18 to 24mm (Extra Large, Black) wind protector fits the Sennheiser MKH 416 P48 like a glove and is just the right length to cover the openings of the mic and allow for attachment to boom or camera. 5 stars because I can't find a single negative to gripe about. Money well spent! 5
