Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can the camera case hold a canon 6d with an ef 100-400 lens attached and also carry an ef 24-105 lens?

A: Lowepro PhotoSport BP 24L AW III Photo Backpack is too small to fit your Canon EOS 6D DSLR with two lenses inside the camera insert. You could get a separate insert to storage the 100-400mm on the top compartment while keeping the camera with the 24-105mm lens lower compartment with the side access. The Lowepro Powder Backpack 500 AW is a better fit for your camera equipment or the Lowepro Photo Active 200 AW Backpack if you prefer the side access over the padded hip straps.

[Green] I have the old version of this backpack for about 7 years and i use it a lot, even without the camera gear.
When i saw the new version, i was thrilled, because they fixed all the issues i had with old one.
The backpack is really lightweight, very comfortable and in general i love it.
I like the versatility of the backpack. it can it can accommodate camera gear, GoPro and my drone.
By the way, it's a really great diaper bag too :)

[Green] I got this bag as a gift for my Son... who's a trailblazer! He loves to go hiking, camping and all other outdoor activities and combined with photography & tech, makes this bag... Awesome!

[Yes] This was the perfect blend for me of a bag that can hold enough but is not a pro going to a movie set. I have two Sony lenses in their cases in the top compartment with a zoom lens attached to A7SIII in the protected compartment in the bottom for run and gun. The quality is great, the price is high but its a company that treats people right and has an eco friendly eye. Worth it.

[Green] Great backpack, feels like a good update from the PhotoSport AW II.
If you're on the edge between 24L and 15L, get the larger one. 24L is not that much larger but it certainly holds a mirrorless camera + 1-2 lenses (depending on the size). The 15L holds a very small camera. For example, Fujifilm XT3 is slightly too big for it. 24L is perfect. I was able to fit XT3 with a 10-24mm + a large 50-220 mm lens in the camera compartment. Solid choice, I personally love side camera access and front stretchy pocket with can definitely hold a vest, snacks, etc. The side pocket is well done and can hold a large Nalgene or a tripod.

[Yes] The best part of using this bag is that you can also carry your camera in front over your chest while connected to the straps instead of strapped around your neck.

[Universal] I will not say what everyone else has said. It's a great bag, it's 24L total. The camera compartment included is the same as GearUp Creator Box L II which is nicer IMO. But the velcro of the bag door wouldn't connect to the Creator Box L II since the inside door material is nylon. It doesn't have a laptop compartment but it can hold a 13 in the water bladder compartment with a sleeve for extra protection. I would recommend using this with a mirrorless camera, it would have plenty of room for accessories. If used with a bigger DSLR, of course it will work but would take up room in the compartment. So far I love it and it's a great travel companion and very light.

[Zipper] Really pleased with this bag. It feat all my needs. I use it like a day pack. Also for traveling. It hold perfectly my MacBook Pro 14 in the water bladder pouch. In the camera compartment, I can bring with me my canon R5 with the rf 24-240 on it and my rf 14-35 f4. I tried to put my R5 with a rf 24-70 f2.8 on it and my rf 70-200 f2.8. It feat but barely. It’s not the best option For that kit. But if someone want to do it. It works. In the main compartment I have a small table tripod an my filter pouch. The quality of the bag is great. An the straps are very comfortable. Highly recommended.

[Zipper] This is a great bag for multi day backing trips. It really sits squarely between a traditional backpacking bag from something like Osprey and an outdoor camera bag. That’s something I’ve not seen in an other bag. The detachable “brain” top, the different compartments allowing for light/heavy/light packing, water bladder support, as well as the highly adjustable strap system are all features I would expect on high backpacking bags and are really hard to find on camera bags. I also have an Atlas pack that claims to play in this same space but just doesn’t have the features to be a true backing bag and is really just a nice day hike bag.

The camera space is appropriate for multi day trips where equipment is the priority. That said, I can get my whole GFX kit with three big lens so it can hold a good amount.
Once I got the strap system dialed in, it carried 35+ pounds really well.

For me, the only legitimate alternative to this bag is a “real” backpacking bag with a third party cube added in. The price on this bag is steep, but the alternative is just about as expensive.

[Yes] I have kids in club sports and we're always on the move between courts, facilities, hotels, etc. and this is an amazingly simple, and light bag to simplify what I need to carry. I wish it had better support for a tripod but I bought another slightly larger bag for days I need the tripod. I'm normally shooting standing or kneeling.

This bag has a spot for a camelback type water bladder, a removable camera bag if I'm going exceptionally light but it also integrates into the bag so nicely that I can sling the bag around, pull out the camera, and put the camera back fairly quickly. The top section holds my batteries, cabling, and a snack. It's compact, light and pretty much has everything I need for two lenses and my Cannon A7R IV. I would definitely buy it again. Well made, well thought out and it looks good.

[Universal] I like to take my camera (EOS M50 with 22mm prime and 55-200mm tele lenses) with me mountain biking. I had been using larger active packs, which were too big for any real active movement.
I was just saying, I wish someone made a biking style hydration pack, but with that side access camera storage feature.
Then, pow!, I found this Photosport 15L.
I load mine with:

The aforementioned M50 + two lenses
One action cam (Campark v40)
One Insta 360 GO2
One drone + controller (DJI Mini SE)
One selfie stick/tripod
Extra batteries
Random rigging clamps and mounts
2L hydration bladder
And a pouch of various bike related items (shock pump, co2 cartridges, miltitool, etc...)
And there's still room for snacks!
