[Empty] This is an interesting pack. I purchased it to carry a 12L camera bag on a two week international trip. The 12L backpack fit in it very well and then I had two separate packs to choose from depending on that day's activities. It's light on the shoulders, has strong external anchor points for carabiners, and fits medium sized monopods and large water bottles in the exterior pockets. Also very cool that it rolls up to the size of a folded, rolled sweatshirt so it can be stuffed into a suitcase or tote bag.

Back home, I take it to the beach with towels and snacks or wear it into the city to visit the Space Needle. It's just so comfortable, flexible, and useful.

The only thing I wouldn't do is carry unprotected electronics or camera gear in it - it has no structure or padding - but that's not why I got it and I couldn't be happier for the price.

[Universal] If you are looking for pack to hold 2 camera bodies, 4 lenses, and all the stuff that goes with it, this is not the bag for you. However, if you want a bag that holds one camera two extra lenses, and accessories and still has room for your lunch, your sweater, a small laptop or tablet and those other things that you might bring along with you on a field trip, plane ride, or to the graduation, this is a great bag. The modest price also makes it a great choice for kit cameras and people that don't have five lenses that they want to take with them.

The pack has pockets on each side - perfect for a water bottle and a tripod. The interior is a soft material

It works very well as a carry-on bag for air travel - holding your camera, laptop, snacks and a water bottle and will easily fit under the seat in front of you without taking ups every square inch of space.

[Zipper] I really like this backpack. The camera area could be a little bigger. It just fit my Canon mirrorless camera and 24-105 lens, lens hood, GoPro with tripod and H1n microphone. There are other pockets for extra batteries, filters etc. It seems very well made. Hoping to try it out this week.

[0.925 lb] I purchased this backpack as a mothers day gift as she is a rapidly learning new photographer and I wanted my bag back. She shoots a Lumix G9II and this bag is prefect for her camera lens and a spare lens. It also hold her iPad easily. I would not recommend this size bag for a full frame kit but for her purposes it is prefect.

[Zipper] This really is an awesome bag that I've been shopping for. There's a couple of others like it on the market where the bottom compartment is accessible without fumbling through your entire backpack. I might have wished for a side compartment opening but that's OK. I had ample room for a light jacket, snacks and other clothing items while keeping my gear including 2 OM systems camera bodies with tele lenses in the lower compartment. For me it's exactly what the doctor ordered.

[Zipper] Perfect size carry-on camera bag for plane travel. Love the purchase. If I had to make one small criticism, it would be that it does not have a rain cover I can put over the bag. But I borrowed one from an older camera bag and now use that when I need to travel in the rain.

[Universal] This bag was an upgrade for me from the ProTactic 350. This bag, being more square and slightly deeper, gave me just enough extra room to get all my gear in a single bag. After owning the ProTactic I learned I never used the side access, so I wanted a bag that only opened from the top when lying flat. This bag also lets you hide the backpack straps if you don't use them. All of these features gave me just enough improved functionality to cause me to make the switch.

[Zipper] I purchased this in Mar 2022, and to this day never regretted that investment. One body, seven lens, pouched accessories, two extenders, gear pouch, etc. all fit nicely inside this TSA/Airline approved sized bag. Live in New England, went to Hawaii and Northwest US several times with no issue whatsoever. The quality of the fabric inside and out is top-notch. The configurability is create (love the dividers that hold small things like batteries!). The hip strap is removable...took mine off on day 1 and have never used it. (I'm a male, 6'1, 200 lbs as reference.)

Lowepro is famous for its bags, and their variety of styles. This one is clearly for someone who wants to haul the photography gear with them on trips, be they urban or rural, doesn't matter (yes, there's a rain cover, too).

The top lid is a fanny pack if you like the 80's and need one in a pinch. One Note: if you are flying, don't put the gear pouch under the top lid as the pictures show because it will be too tall (maybe for some airlines). Mine is in the main compartment and I still carry seven lens from macro, primes, and the venerable 70-200 with no room issues. One the road, sure, move it to the top. Depending on what you store in the gear box, it might make the pack top-heavy. What I do is just put soft items in the top lid...lens wipes, travel towel, straps, etc. No complaints.

OK, have to have one con. The laptop compartment, while capable of a 16 MacBook Pro, is NOT environmentally sealed. The top is just a magnetic catch, from the top direction. The top lid might cover the opening if you cinch it down. This is the bags ONLY downfall in my opinion. Fortunately, I just carry cards and do processing back home.
