A: The Intellytech Mega-8FC Litecloth 3.0 RGB LED Flexible Mat (V-Mount) BH #IN310082 is a 400w light. You can determine run time by dividing battery capacity by the lights power. The light does require the use of 2 batteries. 2x95wh being run at 50% or around 200w would be loosely 1 hour.

Q: 4. Is this RGBWW? I remember seeing a rep talk about it being so but I can’t find any other info to confirm this?

A: Yes. This is RGBWW. If it has FC in the title that stands for “Full Color” and is RGBWW. For example the Mega-8FC is the RGBWW model. The Mega-8 is the bi-color model.

Q: 6. Are the folding "joints" made of metal or plastic? Screwed on or rivets? I'm concerned about durability.

A: The frame and joints are metal on the Intellytech HC Fast Frame Scrim Diffuser with Grid (5 x 6.5'). It is rivets and not screws.

Q: 7. What degree spread is the grid?

A: According to Intellytech, the grid that is included with the FFF-5x6.5'HC Fast Frame Scrim set is 45 degrees.

Q: 8. How small does the frame get when traveling? Does the frame break down to 4x 6ft pieces or are there 8x 3ft pieces?

A: The frames side components are combinations of 3 lengths of interchangeable tubes and connectors. The 6' x 6' frames are made up of 2-46 tubes connected to 2-22 tubes with the connectors adding the remaining length. The longest of the current Cine tubes is the 46 version. You could also build the frames with smaller components by ordering the frame tubes and connectors ala carte.

A: The Scrim Jim Kit underwent changes in 2016 when it was upgraded to standard industry sizes, more mounting options, and more fabric options. This product is for the Scrim Jim Cine (new version) so please check your Scrim Jim version to determine if the sizing is the same. [Fabric] 4.5/5 so far Had a chance to use this on a multi day shoot shortly after purchase and it did not disappoint. My only complaint would be that I wish the whole series of 3.0s were all about 50% brighter so they could replace more setups. But for getting RGB I think it's worth the tradeoff. I had a Godox 4x4 F600Bi, and this is much better for my uses. It has a better grid, by far. The frame sets up and collapses quicker. And it's way quieter - the fan doesn't even seem to run most of the time. Oh and the case has rollers - Godox is just big and awkward with no rollers. Haven't had a chance to use the pop-up quick diffuser accessory yet, though it looks promising. It's a big reason I picked the Intellytech so I'll update after some use. 5

[0.57 lb] It holds 6-7 cards plus 4-5 notes. Easy to access any card you need while keeping the overall thickness very low. Like the design. 5

[0.57 lb] I'm always looking for ways to make set up faster. This definitely does the trick. Personally, I would like a thicker diffusion for the types of interviews I do so I might have a custom one made from some magic cloth. Also, the included diffusion has velcro to attach it to the frame and once the fabric is stretched tight the velcro seems like it might tear. 5

[Fabric] Once you buildnit the first time, yiu can fol it wit the diffusion and grid. Tha clamps with pin that come with it are OK, but not great, i prefer cardelini clamps or even mafer clamps. 5

[Fabric] Totally comparable to the LM Spectrum 4 and better in a lot of ways to own for a small owner op like myself! Love this light! Hoping for a firmware update that improves DMX behavior and it would be really cool if the panels were pixel'd but for the price this has exceeded all expectations! Please keep up the great work and be the value brand with excellent craftsman ship that us smaller owner ops need! Hoping to buy the mega 6 soon! TIP: Make sure to update your timo two chip with CRMX Toolbox when you get your light and then it's plug and play! 5

[0.57 lb] This thing will take most light sources and make for an insane interview look that's normally hard to get. Used it in front of the Intellytech LED Light clothe panels and it was awesome. 5

[1-Stop Loss] Have to say this light is awesome and it is my go to Key light. It's so versatile. So much power for a flexible light I rarely get above 50%. I used to punch my hard key lights through soft boxes and 6x6 silks. This obviously includes a lot more stands and grip gear. Now I can get a similar look with a lot less gear and effort. I actually owned the megalite cloth 2.0 model before upgrading to this 3.0 version. So many great improvements on this current model. Intellytech really listen to their customers.
