A: The Ultra Matte and the Ultra Clear offer the same protection however, the Ultra Matte uses a matte finish to reduce glare/reflections and the Ultra Clear uses polarization to reduce glare/reflection. The effect of the polarization on the Ultra Clear may vary based on the direction of the source of light ( similar to a polarizer filter) and the Matte finish is more uniform in regards to controlling glare/reflections.

this screen protector works perfectly . I installed it on my Elph 360 point and shot. It took all of about 3 minutes to install, Just cleaned off the screen , removed the paper and placed it on the screen. You do NOT use any type of cleaning materials before using the screen protector. You only just have to totally wipe of the screen with a micro cloth. That's it. 5

Mine came with a large scratch but it keeps my 501 monitor minty. It's sad that there aren't other options 5

Must-have for protecting the screen. I shot in a metal stamping facility where there was metal particles in the air, and touched my screen and it left a metal scratch - luckily in the acrylic, not the screen, thanks to this protector. 5

I got this as part of Vello's accessory pack that come with the battery grip and the remote shot device. I wasn't really excited about it until I realized it filtered UV light. Makes things a lot easier to see when I'm outside shooting in daylight. I was really surprised how much of a difference it made. 5
