[Carbon Fiber] Absolutely love this monopod. Very light and very sturdy. Just using to point my microphone at present but will try with my full frame camera soon.

[Carbon Fiber] Wouldn't recommend for a bigger rig; sony and BMPCC4k Cams without many attachments would work great.

[Fluid Head] I have a very stable and somewhat heavy tripod for my camera with a somewhat heavy lens that I use for wildlife photography. I wanted to extend my mobility when shooting photos in certain places so I began researching monopods. I took some time and chatted with a B&H representative online. He answered all of my questions and provide direct links to the options that would suit my needs. I ended up purchasing the iFootage Cobra 3 Carbon Fiber Monopod with Mini Tripod Base and K5 Fluid Head. It is well built and still fairly light. It has three mini legs for a tripod base or you can flip them up and just have a durable pad at the bottom. I am practicing taking shots in my neighborhood so I get a feel for everything I can do with it. Soon I will take it and my camera to a nearby wildlife refugee where I can walk along pahts and get a variety shots. Previously, I would have to set up in a place and opt for the shots that came my way which is fine, but a bit limiting when there are several spots to get good shots. Now I have many options and can plan accordingly. I am pleased.

[1x 1/4"-20 Male] I'm not a video person and my needs are minimal - I don't tilt or pan, but instead lock down my shots. What I did want is minimal size and weight. The pans & tilts are good enough for my purposes and the K5 works well w/ the Gazelle TC7 tripod.

[Carbon Fiber] Pairs flawlessly with my iFootage Cobra 3 Monopod. The fluid head works wonders for controlled pans and tilts even with heavier lenses. The plate can also be used to mount to tripods of other brands, as I've used it with my Manfrotto without problems.

[Flip Lock] I normally video amateur sports (soccer is a fast paced example). Having finished a couple games with my iFootage Komodo K5, have to say I'm very happy with my choice. I especially like the smooth horizontal panning. I was not expecting the built-in resistance while panning but after the first half of the first game, I understood the advantage of having it. Especially liked the adjustable quick mount that let me center the camera weight resulting in smoother vertical camera angle during zooming actions.

[Carbon Fiber] Surprisingly well built. Came wonderfully packaged. Preforms really well for a budget friendly head. At less than 2 Lbs it makes for a very portable setup. Safety lock is a nice feature. Would definitively recommend. Use with a Sony FDR-AX700.

[4] I just finished filming a four day music festival in Ithaca NY using the Cobra 3. After holding this monopod for hours at a time, I can you tell you that the light weight carbon fiber makes a big difference!! Cam extension levers make it easy to adjust the height while filming without shaking the video footage. This is a must for anyone that shoots live music!!!

[Carbon Fiber] On the recommendation of Jordan Drake (yes, thatjordandrake), I purchased the iFootage Cobra 3 Carbon Fiber Monopod unseen. The carbon fiber weight saving is insignificant, but carbon fiber will not stick to flesh in subfreezing weather, unlike aluminum. The tripod base will support the monopod and head standing alone if the ball socket at the base is properly tensioned, but one should not risk leaving the monopod unattended with an expensive camera mounted on top. The sliding red ring locks at both ends allow the monopod to be disassembled and reconfigured, but require two strong hands to operate, not a thumb and finger. A Manfrotto 209 Tabletop Tripod is more pocketable and convenient for lightweight low angle work than the iFootage mini tripod base. B&H having delisted the matching iFootage heads, I purchased my Cobra 3 with the Manfrotto 234RC Tilt Head. Safely manipulating a ball&socket head with a camera on a monopod is a three hand operation; an up-and-down tilt head is easier to manage. iFootage also provides a hex key to adjust the clamp tension, but my Cobra 3 was perfectly adjusted out of the box. Altogether, the Cobra 3 is a well-made, versatile, and functional product. Highly recommended.

[Fluid Head] I use this during real estate shoots both for photos and video. This monopod is sooooo stable. The K5 fluid head works great for panning shots and is super easy to level.
