A: I have been informed by the manufacturer that the board is there to act as a foam stopper. I would hazard a guess that means you can better control the foam as you load the monitor.

A: No, it will not fit. This mixer is too wide to be rack mounted.

[29.5 lb] I got this product to house my new Denon MC-6000 along with a Denon BU-4500 Dual CD player. I already own the FZGS1004BL but needed something slightly smaller. The 1002BL delivers! It smaller yet heavier and better constructed. You have the option of running cables and wires out of the back through a round hole AND by opening a panel. It's great product that with proper care will last, and last, and last... 5

[29.5 lb] Simply put, it's an awesome, well built, well thought out case. It was shipped quickly from coast to coast without issue. I don't like it when people review the company that sold the product instead of using reviews for what it was intended, which is to review the actual product. Those are the same people that call in for technical support, but haven't read the manual. 5

[29.5 lb] Product fits the presonus 1642 beautifully. The space for the cable looms provide room enough for not crimped wires. The only complaint is the weight distribution and where the handles are located. Otherwise I love it. It looks pretty well reinforced. I don't imagine any issues with what I'm protecting inside. 5

[Black / Silver] The first thought that came across my mind was, WOW! Very well built, and I dare anyone to say otherwise. The only one thing I did not anticipate was the weight once the case was full, heavy! But that's on me. It says it can hold 80 LPs, but don't forget to take into account any inner and outer sleeves. Big difference in the end. The case is awesome. Going to purchase a second the moment I hit submit for this review. Hope this helps. 5
